Every time I want to eat wantan mee, I would always come to this place. They have the best, smoothest and silkiest bamboo noodles. I brought my friend here this time round.

I ordered plain bamboo noodles (RM 3) to be eaten with big sui kow which were so crunchy and have so much filling inside.

My friend ordered the Mushroom Bamboo Noodles which is my other favourite.

The herbal tea is also not that overly sweet and just nice.

The price of food here is also very reasonable as I only spent a little over RM 22 for 2 bowls of noodles and sui kow and drinks included. The ambience is also cooling and relaxing.

Torazou Ramen  Smile Oct 18, 2015
Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Ramen/Udon/Soba

Torazou Ramen originated from the largest state in Japan - Kyushu Fukuoka that is originally known as Hakata. This town has over 2000 years of history. Japanese Hakata Ramen is strong based from milky white pork broth soup and noodles covered with few pieces of of Charsiu slices, sprinkled with spring onions and some secret recipe ramen shoyu and essence oil.

The Torazou Ramen noodles are black in colour, almost like charcoal noodles. To me, charcoal noodles are very healthy.

The Torazou Pork Rib Ramen (RM 21.90) was so delicous. The soup was fragrant and has strong flavours of the pork base, thereby fitting the essence of what ramen is all about. One almost feels like drinking the entire bowl! My pork rib came served separately because I requested for the ribs to be chopped for me to ease my eating process as it is messy to eat this in soup.

My friend ordered the Big Charsiu Ramen which not bad either. But the charisu is more like pork chop which is too hard for me. I did not coarse meat.

We also tried the Mugi-Cha (RM 2) which was supposed to be barley tea but the taste is a little weird for me.

Jiro Shabu Smile Oct 18, 2015

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Buffet | Steamboat/Hotpot

I have always wanted to try conveyor steamboat so I could not resist myself thing time round. I wanted to try 100 Celcius Conveyor steamboat buffet but since I am in the vicinity of USJ, I decided to come here. But I did not take anything from the conveyor finally because since there was not many customers, the varieties were few too.

There are a few choices of the soup such as miso, spicy miso etc. We ordered the spicy miso soup which was fantastic that I kept drinking it.

I ordered the Seafood Platter Shabu (RM 33.90) where the portion is not enough for 2 pax. The shabu had many varieties like 2 mussels, 2 scallops, 2 pieces of red snapper, 2 prawns and also some octopus. The standard for every Shabu Shabu is there is a bowl of mixed yong tau fu like items like fried fu chuk, sweet corn, pumpkin, yam, sausage, tofu, crabstick, pak choy, strawmushroom and lot of white cabbage.

The NZ Premium Scotch Fillet (RM 11.90) was so delicious. The great thing about the beef and lamb here are the super paper thin meat cuts that makes eating the shabu shabu so incredible.

The NZ Premium Lamb Shoulder (RM 12.90) is another great dish and goes well with the varieties of sauces available.

The Premium Pork Belly (RM 9.90) was a last minute order because the thin meat could not seem to make me feel full. The pork belly makes eating meat a different experience. I usually do not like to eat meat because I simply do not like biting into coarse meat.

The spinach (RM 2) was fresh and seems to go well with steamboat.

The green tea costs RM 3.90 and the entire meal cost RM 76.50.

The best part was the complimentary lemon zested freeze that was served at the end. It has a very sour taste inside.

Drinks at Soprano Smile Oct 18, 2015   (Related Review)

Soprano has the perfect ambience for hanging out or having a celebration with loved ones here. I came here with my family tonight. They sang all of my favourite jazz and country songs.

I like variety of food and drinks here.

I ordered the Lefte Blonde (RM 22) which was light and sweet and girly.

My mother ordered the Pineapple Sunshine (RM 13.90) mocktail which was too sweet for me I thought it was supposed to be sour. I wonder why nned capineapple juices are always sweet whereas real pineapples are sour.

We also ordered the recommended barbecued pineapple-bacon (RM 22) which was so sweet and juicy. The sweetness of bacon was combined with the pineapples resulting in the greatest combination of all ages.

BBK Soon Kee Seafood  Smile Oct 17, 2015

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood

I was quite hesitant on coming here because I read the blogs  which said this place is quite hot and also has a big crowd. Considering I was late, I thought that we should change to another place. Anyway, thank god I listened to my friend's advice finally as there were so many varieties of food here.

I tried the cute Marmite Baby Squid (RM 18) which were the best I have ever eaten. The marmite has absorbed into every baby squid. The squid was not hard too. I have never eaten this type of squid.

The Wine Steamed Lala (RM 15) was so tasty. There was not an empty shell inside too. I find the soup quite strong in terms of wine smell which is great but I did not like much but overall it is ok.

The Kam Heong Scallops (RM 15) were the cheapest and most delicious. Where can you find scallops for only RM 15? No where!

The Cheese Crab (RM 68) was so delicious. The cheese was not as cheesy and thick as the one at Tak Fok. The crabs are very hard and flesh. It is quite worth the price because 3 small crabs cost only RM 68.

The price of food here is very cheap and the most reasonable I have heard before. For things like squid and lala to cost less than RM 20, it is very surprising, more so, for an air-conditioned restaurant.

Dad even said that he would like to come here again!
