Oreo Cheese Cake Smile Sep 20, 2013   (Related Review)

The oreo cheese cake in Serai is quite delectable. Full of oreo flavour of chocolate and cream, the oreo cheese cake is a delight. The bottom layer is made from the crunchy oreo biscuit, while the middle has a very cream cheese flavour. Not too sweet, slightly heavy on the stomach. Good to have with a cup of tea. Priced at RM14.80 a piece, it was well worth the amount paid.

Pavlova Smile Sep 20, 2013

While taking the escalator from the Paradigm Mall car park, I saw this huge poster on the wall depicting a scrumptious looking piece of cake from Serai. I vowed that I must visit Serai one of these days to sample it. Last week, wifey and I were in downtown KL to run some errands, and we saw that in the ground floor of Life Center, there was a Serai restaurant. Since it was teatime, wifey and I decided to go in to have some cakes due to our light lunch. I now know that the cake is called pavlova. The texture is rather interesting, with meringue-like crunchiness that melts in the mouth. Plump, juicy strawberries adorn the top, with layers of cream and cake. Definitely a good one for the sweet-tooth.

Strawberry Fizz Smile Sep 20, 2013   (Related Review)

Wifey didn’t know what to order for drinks, so I told her to get the strawberry fizz. I secretly wanted to try that out as well, but didn’t want the entire cup. The drink came in a jiffy, and we need to stir it up a bit as the strawberry mixture is at the bottom. A bit sweet, but still acceptable as the ice diluted it some. Priced at RM5 a glass, it was well worth the amount paid.

Passionfruit Fizz Smile Sep 20, 2013   (Related Review)

The drinks here in Pig Out Café is reasonable. The passionfruit fizz is priced at RM5, which I think was decent. As expected, it tasted of fizzy soda water with some passionfruit mixture in it. Slightly sweet, but goes well with the food. It cleanses the palate with a citrus-y aftertaste, and the amount of ice given was adequate. Definitely recommended, and well worth the amount paid.

PigOut Café Chop Smile Sep 20, 2013   (Related Review)

I ordered the Pig out Café Chop as it sounded pretty interesting from the menu. There were two big pieces of grilled pork chops served with garlic sauce, mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The pork chops were juicy and tender. The best thing about it, it is boneless. The mash potato was so-so, a bit too thick for my liking. The coleslaw wasn’t really cold enough. The garlic sauce went well with the pork chop. Overall, a good piece of meat, but mediocre side dishes.
