Kimchi Jiigae Smile Sep 16, 2013   (Related Review)

My personal favourite star of the evening. Hot piping spicy Kimchi Jjigae, mixed with Korean sticky rice, awesome mouth watering meal on a cold evening. Loved the spiciness, sourness, the excitement when I eat rice along with the soup. However, this Kimchi Jjigae has a thicker and richer texture compared to many other Korean restaurant's that I've tried. Conclusion, absolutely love it; also my main reason for having 6 servings of rice.

Herbal Soups Smile Sep 16, 2013   (Related Review)

The one thing that I really like about this restaurant was the soup. Soups here are served in tea pots which was something a little different. There were 3 types of tea presented to us and I have to say, all of them tasted really good. They were rich in flavour and aromatic. The best part, it wasn't diluted. If only they served us more of those soups, we will be really happy.

Upon my first bite, it tasted alot more like Kaya paste rather than Avocado. This has made many of us confuse on whether or not its Kaya or Avocado. Until the very end when we asked the chef, it was Avocado. Anyway, the silk wrap was really crispy; it was made out of German glass noodles. They deep fried it and wrapped it around the avocado roll. It has a very unique texture but the portion was just too little.

Strawberry, chocolate and Vanilla flavour, nata de coco pineapples and jellies with chocolate waffle stick and white chocolate syrup. Strawberry was packed with sweetness, hated it so badly. Chocolate was just bad, vanilla tasted weird. Amazingly all the 'white' coloured ice cream tasted funny. Nata de coco was obviously bought at carrefour. The one which is branded 'Carrefour' instead of the canned one.

If I remember correctly, here are the ingredients:

4x pork patties at 8 ounches each,
4x turkey bacon on each level,
3x eggs,
onions,
tomatoes,
lettuce,
200grams of fries,
lots of sauce.

It was pretty huge. I didn't really care about the flavour so much as I was aiming for the challenge. I just remembered that the bacons were really tough and hard to chew. The pork patties were quite soft but after chewing alot at one go, my jaw started to hurt. The fries was really oily and bland. Here are the results and video of the challenge.
