Nasi Lemak 3.0 Smile Jul 25, 2013

Its funny how they name their nasi lemak. There are several kinds of nasi lemak, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 and 4.0, each with a different combination of ingredients.

The rice was well cooked, not too soggy not too dry. It also has some aromatic scent to it. The Bak Choi located on top of the rice was pretty unnecessary but regardless, it was rather well cooked as well, not to mention fresh. The sambal was good. Spicy with a touch of sweetness. The chicken rendang was not bad as well. The chicken was very tender and juicy. The rendang wasn't too spicy but it was very flavourful. It isn't dry nor is it diluted, just the right consistency. Side dishes such as peanuts, anchovies and cucumber were pretty regular. Recommended, 7/10.

My plate! Looks fantastic. Filled with flavours. Spaghetti was packed with flavours of seafood and herbs. Baked potatoes were also packed with flavours, not to mention baked to perfection. Potatoes were soft yet consistent. Salad was really fresh, along with a splash of vinegrette, splendid. Roast beef ribs were tender and juicy. Sauce was really fantastic.

Durian Puff Smile Jul 25, 2013   (Related Review)

Possibly another one of the best dessert I've had. This durian puff explodes like an atomic bomb in Hawaii. The very first bite would send you to heaven. The amount of durian creme in one of these puffs was....unforgettable. The skin, wrapping the whole thing has a similar texture to a durian, just slightly stronger and more chewy. In conclusion, I would pay up to RM4 for each of this thing. Although I do not know the price.

Economical Rice Smile Jul 25, 2013

Rice - Well cooked.
Kung Pou Chicken - Very flavourful and slightly salty. Close enough to how a Chinese restaurant would cook it. Well done.
Tofu with Vegetables - Clean and light with a mild flavours. Very good as well.
Fried Butter Strips (On top of the rice) - Well seasoned, lovely flavour and crunchy as well.
Sweet and Sour fish - Excellent. Identical to most Chinese restaurants.

Overall, the dishes were really good. Honestly, it was surprising that the food they deliver wasn't oily like regular Chinese restaurant but could almost have identical or even better flavours. The owners were also really nice people, they actually had desserts such as durian puff and cupcakes waiting for us at the other counter.

Breakfast Meal Smile Jul 12, 2013   (Related Review)

Consisting of toast, eggs, ham, sausages, cheese, sweet potato and
a few other ingredients. Besides the toast, everything else was mix in a bowl. My 1st taste on
the "sauce" for the toast reminded me of a pepperoni pizza. It was nice and it had great depth
and flavour to it. The toast was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. When both are
mixed together, its good. Kinda like a healthy pizza snack or some sort. However, the portion
of the bread is not proportionate to the portion of the sauce. She finished the bread and still
had lots of sauce left. But I guess that was their intention, not many can eat like 8 toast and
still go on like me. Its a nice, simple dish. 8/10 for breakfast!
