Alissar Thai has a nice place and environment. Seafood tomyam is never a miss and ooohhh, my betel leaf dish. Fresh betel leaf is served with crunch peanuts, fried shallot, a small chunk of lime, onions and cili padi. Its meants to wrapped, and dip into sauce to be taken fresh. I never had enough of this dish, very tasty. Green curry and pandan leaf is aromatic with its paku pakis vege. Lovely dinner!

The asam laksa in nyonya colors the garden, by appearance its more reddish and looks spicy. The fish meat is in chunks and nice, but the noodle is a little too little. Condiments is well included, mints, onions and chilli padi. A simple lunch meal for a quick stopover, nyonya colours so have local kuehs and located in busy LG floor of mid valley. They do have indoor and a little of out the shop place to dine.

Fried fish head Noodle Smile Jul 22, 2013

Fried fish head noodle at Woo pin is one of the best in town. ;)

The fried fish is fresh, without any soil taste and I love to add in home made fish paste, fish balls. The soup is very aromatic with evaporated milk and Chinese wine. But would prefer to have more soup as having it with rice noodle, it easily get absorbed, and not much soup left. Fried onion, salt vegetables and ginger and spring onion add to this lovely dish. Tasty!

Banana Leaf Rice Smile Jul 22, 2013

Banana leaf rice in Kashmir Café serves a lot of varieties. Rice is served in a big and fresh banana leaf and once the hot rice is on the leaf, the aroma of banana leaf make the dish very appetizing. The fried chicken is nice, and the lamb curry is my favourite. Papadam is crunchy, and with rasem (the small cup of drink taste cooling with a little spice) it's a remedy to cool down too much of spicy food. ;)

Shuen poon zi Smile Jul 22, 2013

lol

Ho boh serves traditional dishes; and its famous for its shuen poon zi too, besides the "lui cha". The amount of the "rice cake" is not a lot, but I love the ingredients that cook with it, which added the aroma to the dish and very tasty. Pan fried dry shrimp, prickled vegetables, mushroom buts and lots of spring onions to taste. The dish is a little salty with the presence of mushroom and dried shrimp, but yet, its delicious.
