Fried vegetable Smile Dec 15, 2013   (Related Review)

This is a great place to dine when looking at a wide selection of dishes if one did not mind to dine with no air condition and in a semi open air restaurant. Taking a shop lot where the main entrance are wide open and the back of the shop lot as the kitchen, the place is considered well ventilated for pleasurably dining. It would be greater if there is some cooling fan if not air conditioner system, but the good food would be able to make up to this. The choices of fried vegetables depend very much on the availability the veges. These Chinese mustard green here is fried with salted fish.

Chinese cuisine offers extensive options, with good choices of beef, chicken, pork, seafood, and vegetable dishes for communal eating, as well as some noodles or rice based dishes for those eating solo. Most dinners usually comes as family or in a big group. The full glory of selection was exhilarating as they have almost everything from deep fried to steaming, and braising to stir frying. The yam ring is a versatile dish where we can order to fill the ring with many different dish. This time I pick the sweet and sour pork. The ratio of flour and yam compliments one another hence giving an amazing texture to the yam ring.

Loh Mai Kai Smile Dec 10, 2013   (Related Review)

Loh Mai Kai (glutinous rice or sticky rice) is one of the popular item here, apart from their mini yam ring. I thought it meet all the basic, fresh ingredients, generous ingredients, and perfectly cooked all round up at the right timing giving a great texture to this loh mai kai. Take note that this one is a popular dish and many people would order this, so it is acceptably reasonable to ran out by 10 or 11am. As a matter of fact, most dimsums would be out by about 11 am.

Xiao Long Bao OK Dec 10, 2013   (Related Review)

The Shanghai xiao long bao was not their best seller and instead of instant steaming upon item being ordered, the steaming basket was filled with these dumplings and continuously steaming at all time. Depending on the rate of orders, there is always chances of customers getting some that has been long waiting in the steamer. Customers seemed to not have any problem with it mainly because business is really good here.

Mini Yam ring! Smile Dec 10, 2013   (Related Review)

The Double L serves this mini yam ring that is superbly clever and cute almost every table would ask for at least one. The tiny yam ring sized in the range of plus and minus average of 5 cm diameter and filled with 3 to 5 tiny piece of ‘ku lu yuk’ aka sweet and sour pork. The sweet and sour pork is really cool. They were all at very tiny pieces. They are all a one bite pork piece which is succulent and juicy while the coating on the outside is fluffily thick with delicious sweet and sour tomato sauce.
