Fried Prawn Mee Smile Feb 27, 2013

Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Food court

My friend recommended this dish of Fried Prawn Mee so i had this for my lunch previous day @ Thye Hong, Food republic, Pavilion KL.

The stall is easy to spot with the staff wearing straw hats and outfits. The queue was long, The cook, prepares an enormous wok of prawn noodles each time, allowing the queue to move faster because alot people ordering this. Food court dishes sometimes can be so good.

I am a Hakka people so i should get to know and eat more Hakka food to understand more of our culture. Ying Ker Lou is a Hakka restaurant for people to enjoy the Hakka style delicacies. Its available at some of the shopping malls like Pavilion KL , Midvalley.

This is the Hakka style porridge. I was abit not feeling well so i will have the patient;s most famous food : porridge.
It comes with a generous portion and i bet i can't finish it. The porridge is strong in taste and flavourful. Best while served hot.

Zouk Cafe Bar not Club alright! Zouk cafe is located in a strategic spot just right at the entrance of The Gardens , once you crossed from Midvalley, you can see teh shop already.Passed by a lot of time before but never have the urge to eat there. Observed the environment, and it was pretty calm and relaxing place to be in i thought.

Salmon Feast! Yum YUm. This is the Salmon Salad. Looks pretty good and tasted pretty good too. The salmon is fresh.

Salmon for main course again, i was having salmon fever that time. This is yummy. Decorated very nicely.

Banana leaf rice Smile Feb 27, 2013

Sri Nirwana Maju is located in Bangsar Baru, One day after we had out paintball session at astaka, my friend suggested we go to eat a banana leaf rice he said. I was excited as its my first time.
When we reach there, i feel like we're out of town, teh atmosphere doesnt look like i am still in teh ciry, very relaxing.

Everyone of us had the basic banan leaf rice that comes with rice, vegetable, curry sauce, and dal. You also can order side dishes liek fried chicken, rendang and others as well to mix with the rice. Its an awesome experience over there

Pork Noodles here is very famous. One time during lunch hour, teh whole restaurant almost all are having the pork noodles despite having so much other stalls available. They just can watch the good business. I felt kinda pity of others stall owners.

Seeing so much people willing to wait for so long just for a bowl of pork noodles deepen my curiosity and expectation
But actually, it turns out doesnt good as it seems. I feel its like justa normal pork noodle like other stalls are seliing. They're famous so it automatically tasted better i guess
