MyDeal Promotion3-Course MealStarter: Mushroom SoupChoice of one Main Course: Crispy Fried Fish with Creamy Onion Sauce Grilled Stuffed Chicken served with Salad & Special Sauce Chicken Ham SpaghettiDessert: 1 scoop of Ice-cream (Vanilla/ Chocolate)Drinks: 1 Glass of Beer or Free Flow of Soft Drinksfor RM25 instead of RM52 per person. Mushroom SoupGreat! +1Grilled Stuffed Chicken served with Salad & Special SauceI ordered this, but I think the chicken was too dry and bland.Had to eat it with the stuffed ingredient so that it wouldn't be too dry to swallow.Crispy Fried Fish with Creamy Onion SauceJason ordered this and thinks that the fried fish was too oily. Since we both were not satisfied by our own choice, we swapped the main course. The fried fish was not crispy at all!I can only taste the greasiness rather than the fish itself. Finally we managed to finish them.*Blame the virtue of not wasting food*1 scoop of Ice-cream (we chose Vanilla)So-so.At the end of our lunch, I asked Jason how much would he rate the food and he said only 2 out of 5.One for the presentation and the other one for the mushroom soup. continue reading

Zouk Cafe Bar not Club alright! Zouk cafe is located in a strategic spot just right at the entrance of The Gardens , once you crossed from Midvalley, you can see teh shop already.Passed by a lot of time before but never have the urge to eat there. Observed the environment, and it was pretty calm and relaxing place to be in i thought.Salmon Feast! Yum YUm. This is the Salmon Salad. Looks pretty good and tasted pretty good too. The salmon is fresh.Salmon for main course again, i was having salmon fever that time. This is yummy. Decorated very nicely. continue reading

After all the hype, Zouk's foray into The Gardens might seem underwhelming at first; the restaurant and bar look handsome enough but aren't particularly dazzling. It's still worth a visit though. The place is calm and spacious, the staff members are genuinely friendly and the food is reasonably satisfying. Skewers of beef bacon wrapped around wild mushrooms, pimento & cheddar cheese, served with tomato chutney. Juicy and fairly flavourful. Sesame-crusted tuna grilled with lime & coriander. The slabs of fish could have been fresher, but at least they were thick and succulent. Loved the wasabi aioli dip. Seared scallops with chilli, mango, pomelo salsa & lemon wedge. Sufficiently meaty, but too ordinary-tasting to really recommend. Balinese Satay (chicken fillet grilled with lemongrass, tumeric & cumin, served with pickled cucumber, peanut sauce & kicap manis). Tender and well-marinated. Tofu and shitake mushrooms grilled with ginger, served with pickled radish & miso sauce. Kinda bland, but we're probably biased, since we were never fans of tofu anyway. Tray of 10 Sex On The Beach shooters. Terrific value for money. Carrot juice & Butterscotch milkshake. continue reading
