When I read the dessert name on the menu I was expecting something really unique and out of this qorld
But when it came out it was like a normal ice cream cake
Excwpt that it has two fla ors which is strawberry on top of chocolate flavor
At the bottom was a very thin layer of sponge cake
The plate was quite decorative with a swipe of blackcurrant jam and a half strawberry fruit

Although this is an italian restaurant the pan fried sea bass was made like a Mediterranean dish
The sea bass was coated in lemon butter sauce but I found the lemon a bit too over powering and made the sauce sour
The sea bass was huge an entire fish including the skin was served
As a garnish the vhef placed three different capsicum on the fish
The capsicum was grilled and soft it has lost its crunchiness

As an appetizer the restaurant served hot.tomato soup with pesto
The pesto was made with basil leaves and olive oil
Most interestingly the pesto was then mixed with elbow pasta and scopped into the center of the tomato soup before it is served
Sirocco also gives free flow.of bread which you can dip into the soup
But you are also given a dip made of olive oil and tomato salsa for the bread

Mak ko restaurant serves pure nyonya food like ayam pong teh. Pineapple prawns. Kangkung belacan and many more
Their specialty dessert includes the famous cendol
Rich in gula melaka and milk its the perfect end to an already perfect meal
The restaurant is almost always full so come early
The waiting period for food is very short especially for the popular dishes
I guess the chef prepares a lot at one go

Cendol is a heritage of the baba nyonya culture
This bowl of shaved ice is generously poured with original gula melaka
You can enjoy this bowl of cendol in this air conditioned restaurant that still maintain the relics of baba nyonya culture such as pictures of ancestors
The cendol is not too sweet and bountiful with green cendol
This delicious cendol only cost about rm 3
