Tin Pan Kor Kor Smile Jun 24, 2012
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Ice Cream / Froyo / Gelato

Tin Pan Kor Kor, literally translated means sweet dessert brother. Strange, as women are always the ones portrayed in the food industry, but guess trends are changing now... tongue

The durian pancake there. It is very delicious with generous amounts of durian in it. Worth the amount of money paid, the creamy taste of durian paste just melts in the mouth smile

The walnut soup here is also nice, very thick and concentrated taste wise...However it might not be suitable for all, like those who prefer lighter soups or do not like walnut.

XO syabu2 Smile Jun 23, 2012

XO syabu was one of the first steamboat places i went to.

Their set which costs RM54+ has nearly everything, from vege to egg to meat to noodle. Special mention is the durian puff (the fried one in the plate) it is oh-so-delicious! warm durian melting in the mouth coupled with lovely fried to crispy sweet on the outside, I actually went back the second time just for that.

Pour everything into the soup, wait for it to boil ... voila! everything done! lovely meal, drink the soup as well, it tastes just right, not too saltish/sweet. their sauces range around 11 types, the xo sauce is nice, should give it a try.

Lovely North Indian Food Smile Jun 18, 2012

I used to patronize Kabul even before the prices went up, and was surprised to see the portion had not increased. Ah. Inflation...

Kabul is a really nice place for Indian food. its also easily accessible via LRT @ sentral.

Their butter chicken is awesome. The butter gravy is heavenly. I have one grouse though, for close to RM10, the portion of chicken is simply...measly. It cant even fill my tummy!

Naan, garlic and plain. Its also nice.

They also have chicken briyani, the chicken is in the rice. It was very good as well. smile

Chinese food Smile Jun 18, 2012

Walking through Sungai Wang, sometimes I rue that there is no new stalls.

This time, I tried Chinese food at Xian Ding Wei, because they have daily deals.

Their food comes with a drink ,either normal or milk tea depending on which set you order.

It was around RM15 or so. I personally found the food to be appetising, and I loved the set meal design and the hot soup. The chicken was good too smile

Eating...Toilet Style OK Jun 17, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles

Toilet bowls always give people a sense of disgust. tongue However, with the upcoming concept stores, it was only to be expected that the toilet concept would be used tongue

They have daily set deals , including a drink. Drinking from a urinal is... oK la, I won't call it refreshing :s tongue

Soup in a tub? Surprisingly quite warming lol

Food in T-Bowl Pyramid is better than the Sg Wang Branch, in my opinion. The chicken floss is not too bad.

Manure -lookalike ice cream? Classic good old chocolate ice cream, if you can get past the design smile

Warning: Go at own risk.
