Here is a little something that is sweet and more solid for dessert. I had the mix pan cake, and note that the mix pancake is comprised of the mango flavor (one in yellow) and the durian flavor (one in green). So if you dislike either one, you can always not order the mix plate. There is this thin layer of flour skin wrapping the fresh cream that was wrapping the fruit which is right in the middle. It wasn’t any bit intriguing, but I thought the creativity was brilliant. continue reading

Hot Aloe vera with dates. Apart from the cold dessert varieties, Hong Kong Dessert also offers some good varieties of hot desserts. The aloe vera was cut into pieces and they were soft and sweet, full of aloe vera taste. There were some red dates in it to add on further sweetness to the dessert. Overall, although the ingredients were sweet, the dessert was not too sweet. continue reading

I like their sesame tong sui here the most. The reason is when the moment they serve this desserts in front of you, you can smell the aroma of the black sesame flow into your nose. When you eat it, the sesame aroma flow into your mouth. Then there is this big gigantic tong yuen in it. When you bite it, something is inside too. Very nice to eat. Best of this place is they serve water for free. continue reading

mango sago dessertThis is the mango sago dessert. This is one of the famous hong kong dessert.I always prefer this type of dessert if compare with those hot and traditional chinese dessert. The mango is very fresh and sweet. They cut them into small cube size but it's too little, only a few pieces. The sago is quite soft and taste good with the coconut milk.Creamy and sweet is the best to describe this mango dessert. continue reading

I don't recall the exact name of this dish as it was some time ago. The top is covered with sweet mango paste or sauce(?) and lots of fresh mangoes. The mangoes are really sweet and soft. Wonder where they get such good mangoes. As you dig in you will find some 'noodle strips' that are actually coconut flavoured jelly which are so bouncy when you bite into them. It does make a unique dessert but I thought there wasn't enough of the mango to go with the jelly though. continue reading
