Ochado Smile Aug 17, 2012

In IOI Boulevard there are many sorts of entertainment and food and beverages outlets. Honestly, Puchong is filled with food lol

One day, I was craving for Ochado and decided to just try it out.

They recommended their passion fruit tea with jelly and cendol at the bottom, priced at around RM6.90 for the large cup which was reasonable. The passion tea was nice, a change from the usual milk tea. There were 2 limes in there too, a true fusion drink! I really enjoyed the jelly and the cendol, which I felt gave me something to chew. Its sweeter and definitely more tasty than pearls!

Just like home Smile Aug 17, 2012

Categories : Malaysian variety | Café | Pizza/Pasta | BBQ | Nasi Lemak

Yesterday, my friend introduced me to this place opposite University Hospital, called Rumahku Gallery and Cafe. I never knew this place even existed!

Its actually a house (a huge one) converted into a "restaurant". It's homey, and you really get that feeling you're dining at home.

Chicken briyani was so good! The chicken inside was tender and juicy, and the rice was not stale, which is really important. The papadam on the top was lovely, I wish I could have an extra piece. Heh.

The mutton briyani was awesome too. It was not too spicy, and as you can see, the portion was huge! I could not finish my rice. The dhal at the side did help to give taste to the slightly hard rice, and the cucumber was nicely done, and went well with my mutton briyani.

Overall, a great meal at a homey place. Would I recommend it? Definitely.

Date of Visit: Aug 16, 2012

Spending per head: Approximately RM20(晚餐)

A nice lunch Smile Jul 31, 2012

So one fine day, we weny yo Sup Pedas Kaajang for lunch.

Their interior, simple but nice deco. The owner greeted us, was courteous(which is really important!)

The lunch dish, pork knuckle in vinegar. The most ex dish at RM10 but also the nicest. The vege was yummy, portion was big. The pork was all lean meat( we requested) and the hard boiled egg added the extra "kick".Yums

Their famous hot pot port. I found it too spicy for my liking, even after they said they had reduced the amount of spiciness. But a good dish if you're not afriad of spiciness.

Loved the bitter gourd soup, with some meat slices and vege and ginsend in it. All the lunch sets are less than RM10, and for pork and vege and soup -I think you cant go wrong. Lovely place.

Lovely Little Italy Smile Jul 11, 2012
Categories : Italian | Restaurant

Close to home, I found a beautifully decorated place, Little Italy.

See how classy the place looks?

Their salad comes together as a set during lunch, but if not it costs RM12.50. It is a very generous portion with lettuce and tomato and carrots tossed with mayo. Its a good appetizer and definitely whets my appetite for more.

Their hawaiian pizza is delicious. The thin crust makes the pizza crunchy, with generous topping of cheese on top, and succulent pineapples and chicken meat.

Ice lemon tea, made of powder. Refreshing on a hot day.

Ben's @ Publika Smile Jul 11, 2012

Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Restaurant | Pizza/Pasta | Burgers / Sandwiches

ben's at Publika was one of my first attempts going so far just for food. But what can I say? It's really , really worth it!

The Shepherd's pie. The shepherd's pie(RM18.90) was just delicious, with soft melt-in-your-mouth pastry and chunks of meat that was tender and juicy. Definitely a must try. A special mention about the salad at the side - It is out of the world, and if you're a salad lover this is a must try. It has a special sauce, and has raisins stuff that makes it taste just awesome. A dish worth its price.

I especially love the chicken salad , which comes with turkey ham. It has a generous portion of tender, soft breast meat that is not bland at all. The turkey ham is also chunky and crunchy, that is lovely to taste. smile
