Tin Pan Kor Kor Smile Jun 24, 2012

Tin Pan Kor Kor, literally translated means sweet dessert brother. Strange, as women are always the ones portrayed in the food industry, but guess trends are changing now... tongue

The durian pancake there. It is very delicious with generous amounts of durian in it. Worth the amount of money paid, the creamy taste of durian paste just melts in the mouth smile

The walnut soup here is also nice, very thick and concentrated taste wise...However it might not be suitable for all, like those who prefer lighter soups or do not like walnut.

A & W  Smile Jun 24, 2012

A & W has always been one of my favourites since I was young.

The double mozza burger is expensive (RM10 ala carte!) but has sizable portion of double beef burger patties, and a piece of beef bacon. I like it because it's just nice for me to savour portion wise, while I enjoy the juicy beef well marinated with a hint of pickle and cheese.

A& W rootbeer float is also everyone's favourite. Love the fizzy root beer with the creamy vanilla ice cream. Yums smile

Of the many branches of Chili's I have visited, none can beat the bangsar branch.

Chili's is a well known, good place for whatever occasion.

I like the fact that they have a non smoking zone so people like me no need to get secondary smoke. lol

Their quissedillas. Its a breaded dish that comes with some filling inside. I like to have mine with the sour cream and with some vege on top. The tomatos serve as a nice accompanying colour and is tasty too.

My lava molten cake. The best birthday cake (RM20) to have. Its chocolate sponge inside, and on top a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream with a chocolate "shell". drooling saliva already? Its the best dish, with warm chocolate cake and cold vanilla ice cream, its heavenly. Sweet, satisfying.

Ikea Meat balls Smile Jun 23, 2012

Ikea is very famous for their meatballs. If got a chance, all should try it.

The dish is nice and tasty. The meatball is succulent and big enough the portion, and it isn't rubbery. The gravy is sweet and tasty, and definitely complements the meatballs The french fries is a good filler, well cut and fried, goes well with the dishes. Not too oily.

I went to Makan Makan Coffee house on a groupon deal. The ambiance is lovely.

The exterior.

They have many many asian dishes, but they rarely refill it. The salad was ok, fresh but not much variety. There wasn't any cheese choices too.

They have fresh oysters and noodles etc. The are 2 types of oysters, the orange based and the white based ones. I personally feel the white ones are nicer than the orange ones, less raw taste.

They also have chefs frying stuff, like some stir fry stuff and some burger. Their burger is like ramly's burger on the street. Alot of bread, not much patty. Normal tasting, nothing special.
