Ever thinking of having light meal but yet a bit lazy to cook yourself Maybe you can consider having a meal at 'I Love Yoo!' Restaurant. The first time I came across the name of the first time, I feel that the shop really have a catchy name.

The porridge was plain but taste sweet even thou you can not see any meat. It might be due to large amount of ajinomoto being put in. It was a simple porridge of plain porridge served with pepper, oil and onion leaves. The texture of the porridge is watery. The serving is rather small and not enough even for a person. Luckily the set of porridge come ‘yu char kuih’. The ‘yu char kuih’ is freshly made every day. Eating the plain porridge with the ‘yu char kuih’ made whole dish worth spending. Anyway, once awhile having porridge is good for our digestion.

Halal Penang Food in PJ Smile Jan 18, 2012

I you ever crave for Penang food and you are far from Penang, you can consider Heritage Village. Their fried kway teow especially really yummy. Eating the kway teow really reminds me of my hometown at Penang.

The fried kway teow consisted of huge prawns, mantis prawn, sea hum and fried with duck egg. As the flat noodles is not soak together and not wet, you can taste the softness of the noodles. The prawns served are truly gigantic to say the least. The fried duck egg really increase the aroma of the keow teow. It brought a different flavour to the whole dish. Yes, you can imagine how good it tasted.

This shop does display their 'Halal' signboard.

Sister Crispy Popiah Smile Jan 18, 2012

The popiah is soft and yet crunchy. The vegetables are being cook until soft and juicy. They add winter melon and carrot to make the vegetables taste sweet. The bread crumps made the whole popiah crunchier. It is like eating crunchy bread adding with soup. As the skin of the popiah is made from pandan, egg and flour, you can taste the kick aroma of the whole snack. Adding little bit of sauce chilli will made the taste stronger as Asian people like me love stronger taste.

Olio Spaghetti Smile Jan 18, 2012

The first time I entered this restaurant, the first words that came out from my mouth was "Wow... this restaurant really have a lot of display frames."

The seafood olio spaghetti is really delicious. I really love the taste. The oysters and shrimps are fresh. The juicy shrimps turn this simple dish into something really special. The garlic, tomato, chilli, pepper and cheese increase the aroma of the sauce. It tastes creamy and hot. Squeezing some lemon juice into the dish will made the sauce taste between sourness and sweetness.

Formosa and not Farmosa OK Jan 18, 2012

At the first glance, I read the shop as Farmosa. Then I read again. Eh... it is actually Formosa and not Farmosa. Haha, maybe it is my mind that read what I think and not what I see it in the first place.

I order one of the set meal. There are a cabbages, egg, fried taufu, fried sausages, plain rice and watermelon. Everything is nice and perfect except no pork Taiwan Sausage. It is a chicken sausage and not pork sausage. The taste of the sausage is rather tasteless. The meat too soft for my liking. But the soy sauce egg taste good and salty. It smell and tastes like herbal egg. Too bad I only being served with half of the egg. The small plate of cabbages and fry taufu make the meal a complete healthy meal.
