Think that Hui Lau Shan is the only place to go for tasty Mango desserts? Well, think again! There is a cheaper mango deserts place in town Drop by MangoLikey @ SS2 Food Court for some cheap and delicious mango desserts! I came here for my dinner the other day, clueless of what to get. So I decided to walk around the food court and discover my options. While walking around, I stumbled upon this store and I did not remember it being there during my previous visits. Besides ordering my dinner, I ordered Mango Tower too. It costs me RM 5.90 for one bowl. The Mango Tower was riched with mango puree, mango cubes, mango ice cream and many more! Moreover, I managed to get RM 1 refund by liking their Facebook page and take a picture of the dessert I ordered. So, basically the Mango Tower is RM 4.90 only, it was so worth it. PS: The weather was so hot that day, it melted and overflow from the bowl and spilled on me. Thus, I suggest to consume it as fast as possible to prevent such mess from happening.
Such a great deal!

As I entered Food Republic, a fragrance attracted me to the Teppanyaki shop immediately. I ordered the chicken chop set which cost RM 15, exclusive GST. The set includes rice, beans sprouts, vegetable and soup. To my surprise, the set do not come with any drinks. The chef started cooking the beans sprout, then vegetable and lastly the chicken. As the chef cook, I almost drooled, as it really does smell incredible! The meal was really delicious, especially the gravy. I could literally eat my rice with the gravy only; it was that good. The soup served was ABC soup, it tasted fine but they did not provide any of the ingredients (i.e. carrot or potato), they just serve the soup only. However, I believe the chef has put a little too much ajinamoto while cooking the chicken as I got very thirsty after the meal. By the way, do have a chat with the chef, he is a really friendly person! Tips: it's not necessary to sit near the place where the chef cooks. It's possible to request for a takeaway and it somewhere else in the food court.
Delicious!

Sangkaya is famous for their coconut ice cream, but some may not know that Sangkaya sells cha yen ice cream too. Cha Yen is Thai Milk Tea. Sangkaya sells a different kind of Thai Milk Tea ice cream as they serve their customer, Thai Milk Tea infused in coconut ice cream. In my opinion, this is what made them special. There are various pricing for their ice cream. You can get a scoop of ice cream with cone for RM 3.10 ; 3 scoops of ice cream in a sundae cup with one topping for RM 7.30 and lastly, their signature: 4 scoops of ice cream served on fresh coconut husk with flesh strips and a maximum of 3 toppings for RM 10.50. The prices are inclusive of GST. The toppings that the customers can choose from are sweet corn, kidney beans, corn flakes, roasted peanut, coconut flakes, cereal and Hershey’s chocolate sauce. For every additional topping, customers are required to pay extra RM0.50. My personal favourite toppings are sweet corn, coconut flakes and the Hershey’s chocolate sauce. In my opinion, the price they charged is quite reasonable as they are selling something unique
Taste fantastic!

Clawset café is a pet café (there are pets in the café for you to play with or you could simply bring along your own pet to the café) in Damansara Jaya. The café can be easily found. However, it is very difficult to find parking near the café. The café offers a variety of food and drinks. Their drinks are named after the pets they have in the café. I enjoy coming here as I do not have any pets at home as my mother is allergic to their fur. But I have always wanted to have a puppy since I was young. Thanks to Clawset, now I can play with so many puppies and kitties, without having to trigger my mother’s allergy. It is my second time here, and I ordered what I ordered previously - Peanut Nutella Waffle. It’s definitely one of the best tasting waffle that I have had so far. The Peanut Nutella Waffle costs RM15.90 ; Clawset café does not charge service charge or GST (Yay!). I liked how they put Oreo crumbs (I mean, what can go wrong with Oreo right?!) and marshmallows on the waffle. There are two sizes of marshmallows on the waffle, big and small. This can be seen in the pictures below.
Mashmallow goodness!
Ps: If you’re lucky, you can even see a real life grumpy cat! Isn’t it adorable? Recommended Dish(es):

π Jan 13, 2016 A humble shop that is located in section 17, same row as the famous Kanna Curry House. My sister and I dropped by there because we were at that area and wanted to go somewhere for tea time. So, I looked up the internet for some café nearby, and The Humble Pie was one of the suggestions given. The waiter was friendly as he recommended us to what was their specialty. As the shop name has it, their specialty is in pie. So, we ordered some pie (ie: Bananofee and Musang King). The bananofee pie (RM10) is a combination of banana and toffee whereas Musang King pie (RM15) is a seasonal durian pie. Among the two pies, Musang King pie definitely smelled and tasted incredibly awesome! You could actually taste the durian! Therefore, if you happened to drop by and Musang King pie is for sale, you should absolutely give it a try. Otherwise, you could opt for another durian pie, called the Duffee Pie.
Finger licking goooood!
As you can see from the picture, the pies actually looked the same. It's the layer below the cream that made them taste different Recommended Dish(es):
