High Tea Sushi OK Dec 29, 2015

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Ramen/Udon/Soba | Noodles

Last Sunday, my family and i went to the Evolve Cincept Mall in Ara Damasara as we finished the lunch and want to take away something to home for afternoon tea. We decided to buy some sushi from sushi Q in this mall.

Evovle Concept Mall is a newly opened mall in Ara Damansara, PJ so there is not many customers as not all the shops are opened. Hence, no waiting time required if you want to have a meal there. Sushi Q is just located right opposite the litle fat duck that I just introduced last time.

The staffs there are very friendly and well- attitude. Sushi Q in Evolve Concept mall is a kiosk and people can see a display fridge which is displaying variety of ala carte sushis for customers to choose. These sushi price range from 1.80 to 5.80 each. Some lunch sets such as rice, udon and etc are offered to customer to choose. Moreover, another fridge displays sushi too however I consider that part is selling sushi combo. The sushi combo normally is 5 to 6 pieces in a box so it costs higher which is more than RM10.

I like to eat the salmon sushi with cheese which is RM 2.80 and the soft shell crab handroll which cost RM5.00.

Yum Yum Sandwich! OK Dec 26, 2015

I read an article about A.Toast- Breakfast& Juice Bar a while ago and found out it is located in Pudu, a region that I'm familar to. However,I had been looking for this but didn't manage to locate where it is. Few days ago, I was waiting for the traffic light from red to green, I successfully located it at a glance. Of course, go there with no hesitation!

Actually it is very difficult for people to discover it because it is hidden behind a bus stop which right under the pedestrian bridge. People can park at the parking behind Pudu LRT station and walk about 10m then you will see A.Toast- Breakfast & Juice Bar.

A.Toast- Breakfast & Juice Bar is a mini breakfast shop which sells breakfast such as sandwichces, big breakfast and etc.

I ordered a charcoal toast with scrambled egg& cheese and a black sesame toast with sunny side up egg which costed RM5.80 respectively. They were a la carte which means that no drinks came along. The toast were fluffy and soft. I was having the black sesame toast one the toast side was full of sesame seed and it went well with the egg, lettuce and tomato too.

Even though it is located just beside the road however it is an indoor environment so don't need to worry about the dust moreover there are air-con and fan inside it.

I felt a considerate point is A.Toast- Breakfast & Juice Bar provided a glove to me to have the sandwich clean and neatly. The staff was very friendly and provided a good service!likelikelike

Not really pleasant meal.... OK Dec 22, 2015

This is also my sister's experience. This is about Franco in Berjaya Times Square.

It was weekday as she finished her class and she went with her friend. It was a set lunch and the set that she ordered was RM22++.

This set lunch included a main course, a dessert, and a bowl of soup. The main course options were provided such as rice, spaghetti and etc whereas the soup is depending on soup of the day. The dessert is ice cream.

She had a carbonara spaghetti which contained egg, bacon, mushroom and etc. The presentation was not bad but the overall taste was little bit bland. On the other hand, the soup was creamy and lots of bacon and mushroom were put in so it was rich rich rich! hehe The ice cream was vanilla flavour but it melted very fast so must have it very fast!

The service was satisfying and overall ok...

I'm a Italiano! OK Dec 22, 2015

Categories : Italian | Restaurant | Pizza/Pasta

This was my sister's experience. After her class ended, she and her friends went out for lunch. Pizzolo basically is a Italian restaurant which serves Italian dishes such as pasta, pizza, and etc.

It was weekday so my sister ordered a set lunch which costed her RM14.90. There were 3 types of set lunch menu which the price range is from RM14.90 to RM 24.90.

The set lunch that my sister ordered consisted of a main course, a beverage and an appetizer. Two options were given for each which are either spaghetti or pizza for main couse; either soup or salad for the appetizer and the beverage was only soft drink available.

5 types of pizza and 3 types of spaghetti have provided by Pizzolo for customer choose. My sister had a Hawaiian pizza which contains of chicken, onion, paprika and etc. The pizza was thin and soft, so girls would not need to worry about the bearing issue. The appetizer was mushroom soup and sided with a piece of garlic bread. The flavour were all balanced and well blended together.

The promotion is only available on weekdays from 12pm to 3pm solely. So don't confuse oh~

KimchiKimchi! OK Dec 20, 2015
Categories : Korean | Restaurant

Kimchi haru was introduced by my lovely teacher. Kimchiharu is loacted in SS15 nearby Inti university. Kimchiharu is a modern korean western fusion restaurant. The interior design of this restaurant was simple but chic. It was quiet but we enjoy the silence.

All of together were six of us went there. We ordered a kimchi ramyeon, some jeon (fritters), pork bossam, a bibimbap, cheese rabbeoki and a kimchi jjiggae.

Bossam is a pork dish which the centerpiece is pork belly, boiled in spices and thinly sliced. This can be matched with the coming sauce or just wat with kimchi. This dish is RM 24.90 and the portion was a little small though.

Whereas the kimchi jjiggae is right to my taste. It came with a bowl of rice and some side dishes. The kimchi jjiggae was rich in ingredients such as pork, mushrooms, onions, kimchi and etc. It was appetizing especially with ricebowl

Siz types of jeons or fritters were available in the menu and a set was RM 17.50 and allowed to choose any three out of the six. The jeons were very crispy and rich in flavour however was slightly oilly.

In conclusion, the ambience of kimchiharu was relaxing and the service was okay. The food was not bad in taste but was a little pricey.
