最近天气酷热，找间冷气房吃饭是何等享受的事情。
这里环境不错，舒服，等待的同时会送上虾饼。这里的食物，健康但不清淡，像是炒菜不加蚝油（虽然放蚝油会更香），但也胜在清甜。
招牌的sambal 臭豆 与炒沙葛（外配包菜）更是让你吃得回味。

虽然sambal 臭豆没加大虾，确实少了些什么，但也无妨。
只是炒沙葛嘛，仿佛真的少了点什么，和平常吃的不太一样。
至于豆腐，感觉分量少了点。

服务不错，见着客人行动不方便会主动开门，让路，帮忙打点。

6人，5菜，花费 RM86
也算差不多。

来到这里就做好排队的准备。
每天下午530开始就大排长龙，就连我这个怡保人也少吃的高温街，这次就来探个究竟。等待的同时先来一杯柠檬汁，我只能说这柠檬汁真的很original, 无添加多余糖粉，还是酸酸的，醒神！
芽菜 -- 还好。芽菜在怡保那么著名，这程度是普通，与其他餐馆的味道不相上下，没什么特别好的。
鸡 -- 差了点，肉质结实，可能是走地鸡的关系。但是吃起来不太爽口，不滑。少许失望。
鸡脚 -- 我这个不太爱吃鸡脚的人，吃了两口也觉得没什么特别。第一，汁不香。第二，鸡脚没啥入味。怡保有一间小档口吃鸡脚特别正，只是关闭之后就再也没吃过了。
河粉 -- 普普通通，还好。因为山水的关系，也因为从小吃河粉吃到大的关系，我对怡保河粉的口感非常挑剔，而这里，不算上等，不太滑口，只属于普通等级。

总体来说，就是不明白为啥那么多人慕名而来。还好而已。不会惊讶。

Something is missing in this assam laksa, I guess is the fish meat (comparing with Penang's Assam Laksa), and lack of sourness, but overall still good.

The noodle was smooth, typical Ipoh noodle. I visited this stall in a fine afternoon, sitting under a well-shaded area beside the stall, under the trees. You can order some "炸料" and drinks from the stalls nearby. My friend ordered the Chee Cheong Fun opposite. Being a typical Kuala Lumpur guy, he don't seem to enjoy Ipoh's Chee Cheong Fun that much though.

第一次来这店，我想如果下次不是父母要来，我不会再光顾。首先点了份猪肉粉但不要内脏，我再叮嘱不要内脏可不可以换去猪肉饼呢？
服务员，是为40-50岁的 aunty 吧，都忘了，不是很有礼貌地说，“就是猪肉粉啦？有内脏是及第粉。”

那好吧。满心期待等着，想象着很好吃的猪肉粉，有块很大块的猪肉饼。我想，外面招牌打那么大，还免费试吃！应该不会错。

结果，你看我的猪肉粉，端上的时候我都吓了一跳。说好的猪肉饼呢？我翻了翻真的没有，有的是两三块小到不行的猪肉！猪肉饼和猪肉吃下去的感觉是不同的，猪肉饼比较松软，猪肉质感比较硬。

问了问 aunty, 没有猪肉饼的咩？Aunty 说，猪肉粉是什么都没有的啦！

我愣了好大一下，在外面的猪肉粉都没有那么清淡啊！

至于其他的粉，感觉上也应该没什么特别吧。卖相也一般。

饮料方面，白咖啡也是一般。没有特别浓，但还是不错。

然后上厕所，不太清洁，厕所还在漏水，水滴到地上会反弹弄到脚...说起来恶心。算了。

Despite being at the center of Ipoh Town, this place has nothing special to blah about. Perhaps this is the only place in Ipoh where you might find big bowl noodle / boat noodle, where the big bowl noodle is just a big bowl with a lot noodles, that can feed 5 stomachs; and boat noodle whereas is the real small scoop noodle with RM1.90 per boat.

I dropped in, in a hot sunny day, to have some fresh air and perhaps some cold coffee to refresh myself. Ordered a custard and a glass of iced coffee, nothing specialWell, custard is sweet, you can't blame that, but besides that something is missing. The pudding was slightly too firm for a pudding, if you get what I mean. Perhaps I'm so used to the famous caramel pudding nearby (which is real soft), I don't particularly fond this firm-pudding.

As for the iced coffee, well, just a glass of a very normal iced coffee.

Would't recommend for a second visit, unless you just need a place to rest your feet.
