Smile Jun 21, 2016

Recommended Dish(es):

Smile Jun 21, 2016

What a surprise! Smile Jan 27, 2016

Categories : Chinese | Café | Desserts

Never been here before and I wasn't really expect anything from them. Despite being pampered by so many other choices of dessert shop, we opted to give this a try while waiting for our movie on a Friday night, looking for something real light to chew with.

We ordered this "mango almond pudding" which comes with pomelo. It surprisingly taste real nice! For I'm not an almond fans, the almond that comes in pudding form wasn't taste as strong as I expected, and it matched perfectly with the mango!

Next that surprise me is this "american sandwich" which consists of chicken, cheese, ham, butter and bread. Real like their salted butter, and the cheese and ham just makes this dish simply yummy!
must try!

must try!

FIRST CHOICE whenever I'm in PJ Smile Feb 29, 2016
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood

Good service, the staff always cheerful at least not rude.
Always my first choice when opt for dai-chao in PJ area, (for I couldn't think of any that is better than this)

Salted Egg Sotong -- One could never resist this dish for how delicious it is! We basically drooled for it and would like to ask for more salted egg if we can!

Fresh fish from the aquarium, no ground taste, tender meat and matched perfectly with the sauce.

油麦 -- i would say this dish can never go wrong. So simple yet so delicious!

Indian Taufu -- If you're looking for something spicy, this is it. Soft taufu with just nice curry, mixed well with your rice too!

Special recommend their roasted pork arm 猪手 too! Roasted tender meat with crispy pork skin, I'm sure those pork lovers out there would definitely crave for this!

Luxurious Steamboat Experience Smile Nov 24, 2015
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Steamboat/Hotpot

Before you step in this place, you know the price like (haha)Quite a luxurious design for a steambot place, located at roof top of First Avenue, I was thinking the food must be so good despite the price, and hence the crowd.

And I was right, despite being expensive, the service was awesome. The staff are very attentive, helpful, and their dishes are so fresh that you can really taste the difference!

We ordered the famous coconut based soup, apparently it was alright for me, but it will be too sweet for those elderly.

We order the famous 黑松露 balls, 桂枝丸, and some other that I couldn't remember. Don't give their dumplings a miss, that's my compulsory order by all means.

The special made sauce (soy sauce + ground ginger) makes everything tasty for a reason.

Oh, the fish noodle also THAT fresh that they literally squeeze it out to the soup on the spot.

Do pay here a visit if you're a coconut person. Worth a try.
