The only place that I eat the fats and skin of the char siu(BBQ pork). How I've missed the glorious looking pork nothing beats this place after so long. & my favourite is the Hakka Noodles with charsiu + more added char Siu after. also managed to try out their chicken meat as well. still prefer their char siu the most. lolmad

So in luck today as I finally got the Gardener's brekkie today! always seem to run out whenever I order this.
Super love the ripe avocado slices that went well with the mushroom on the rye toast and poached eggs. Am not a huge fan of fries but totally hooked on their sweet potato fries! and the Kenya Thiriku AB filter coffee was good!

been wanting to come here for the longest time ever. Now that I can fit in more time, had the Guatemala El Apiaro brewed on v60 & latte with the blend of Brazil and Ethiopia Yigarcheffe. The former was so juicy & sweet with notes of stone fruits like plums! The latter was composed more of the Ethiopian however the milk chocolate flavours from the Brazil was pretty overpowering compared to the other.
And not also not forgetting some of their homebaked goodies like the simple dark chocolate almond cookie to go with the coffee. Nothing really beats having these on a scorching hot day in an ol' school kopitam style cafe& their slow melancholic music made me feel so relaxed.

A quick coffee fix with the sister.
Single origin Java on the white ( magic) and blend of Brazil and Ethiopian for the black (magic) & a simple yummy Classic Waffle with honey and butter for something to munch on. love that it isn't too sweet and also great for light eaters like me.

dim sum saturday lunch.  Smile Mar 21, 2016

One of those very favourite places to go for dim sum as usual. The baked bbq pork bun is my favourite and I’ve noticed the significant reduction in size and the fillings of the pao  one set usually have 3 buns. However, the spinach dumpling and prawn dumplings are my favourite for that day, the skin was so crystal clear and smooth. Even though it looked like it was tasteless, but the prawns were fresh, sweet and juicy. absolutely love their steamed malay cake too!! fluffy and soft and just the right amount of fragrance.
