My all time favourite french toast in Wong Kok. Whenever I have no idea what to eat, this will be one of my food choice since its yummy and filling not to mention the price is reasonable! It's their french toast that attracts me to visit their restaurant more often. Crispy toast filled with peanut butter topped with icing sugar and butter. They served it warm! The smell of peanut butter is indeed alluring. Definitely a must try especially to peanut butter loverssmile

Malay food OK Apr 01, 2016
Categories : Malay | Café | Restaurant

This Malay restaurant is always full every time I passby. That day I decided to visit after some work out. We ordered their 'nasi lemak dengan ayam'. Surprisingly their nasi lemak wasn't spicy but sauce was more of sweet... weird much. If I were to crave for nasi lemak, I definitely will opt for the Nasi lemak with fried chicken from Village park that located at Damansara uptown.

Besides that, we also order their nasi pulut with rendang. It was alright but quite filling especially when you just finish working out. We can't finish it on the spot and we packed it up to bring home.

Their teh tarik tasted like milk tea and I find it nice if you are milk tea lover. It was quite difficult to find a table with sits available even early in the morning and it is always full house.

Thai cuisine OK Mar 31, 2016
Categories : Thai | Restaurant

First time visiting this Thai food restaurant. In Tesco, there wasn't much choice for the restaurant you can choose to dine at. We intentionally come here for this restaurant as we have been eyeing on it every time we visit Tesco.

We ordered the famous thai dessert. I can say it was the best so far compared to other desserts that I have tried in previous thai restaurants. Definitely coming back for this!
yummy!

yummy!

Their Green curry chicken was alright. Since I am a big fan of green curry, I still find it nice wherever I visit Thai restaurants.

Their tomyam was just alright. The portion is just too small. Quite disappointed with it.

The 'fried sotong' was terribly small. It is not chewy enough. Another disappointed dish I would say. The portion was unreasonably small eventhough we order large.

We expect the fish skin to be more crispy but it was soggy, I think it was due to the mixture of cucumber and other vegetables that top on the fish when served.

Overall, I would say it was just alright. I love the dessert only!

Pasta heaven? OK Mar 31, 2016

First time visiting this restaurant after observing it for quite some time. It is always filled with crowds especially at night. Hence, I decided to give it a try since they have quite a lot of loyal customers supporting them. We ordered pumpkin soup, grilled chicken with aglio olio, cabonara with bacon, Fettucine and mushroom aglio olio.
I find it normal as it wasn't as nice as I thought.

I find it normal as it wasn't as nice as I thought.

The soup was just okay. It wasn't as nice as I thought.
It was quite disappointed.

It was quite disappointed.

We ordered this and expected it to be nice but it wasn't. If you were to compare with Hanz Harvest & Cafe, I still prefer Hanz Harvest & Cafe set lunch of grilled chicken with aglio olio. Their grilled chicken is surprisingly dry. The aglio olio is quite tasteless.

If you're a fan of super creamy carbonara, then this will be the right choice. the taste of creamy, cheesy taste will really melt in your mouth.

Special dish I guess. I have never try this kind of fettucine dish before, hence I guess worth trying it out.

I always prefer aglio olio, hence order one of their aglio olio to try it out. Heavy smell and taste of garlic, hence if you hate garlic, don't try this. It tasted quite nice, just that it was a bit too oily. Overall it is quite nice.

Chendul OK Jan 16, 2016
Categories : Malaysian variety | Noodles | Halal | Desserts

Honestly my first time to visit this place for their chendul after recommended by my friend. It looks appealing when I observe the food ordered by other customers. And so my friend and I each ordered chendul as dessert after lunch. It looks yummy, but when I taste it, I find that it's abit too sweet while too much santan. I guess it's lack of shaved ice. It should have gave more, so that it'll be just nice. Oh well I think it's alright in all. Besides, you can't really find chendul in a shopping mall.
