Colourful Indulgence OK Sep 19, 2015

After having lunch a little dessert to indulge on is a must. J & Co will be my option since I have never try these donuts.

Upon you walking into the store, you will be attarcted my the colourful and fancy designed donut. With a big variety of flavours available, it will be a hard choice for you to choose.

A big range of flavour from chocolate donut to coffee to peanut butter and some really creative food pairing.

We selected 2 nicely decorated with creative flavour pairing donut to try.

The coating is the donut is nice however is also make it hard to eat as the chocolate coating is not able to set on the donut. The donut itself is not soft and fluffy. But the filling in the donut is too creamy and sweet. Hence 2 donut will be really enough for a couple tea time.

J & Co do offer a nice range of coffee and tea to go with your donut. Wih every purchase of coffee or tea, you will be able to purchase the donut at RM2 each. A great tea time option.

Dessertlicious OK Sep 13, 2015

What is better then having a nice dessert time with your friends after a dinner. If you are in Bukit Bintang area, Tous Les Jours will most probably capture your attention as the interior is nicely decorated and making it very comfortable for chit-chating.

To make a little changes, I did ordered a power juice which is a mixture of orange, carrot and apple. On the first sip, I'm amaze as the juice is very fresh. No water and sugar added. When you are here, you will sure to order some cakes, we havechocolate, red velvet and raspberry cheesecake

I am a little dissapointed with the cake as it not fresh. The cake texture is very dry and the ganache is very sweet. The best is Raspberry Cheesecake. The texture is very creamy.
The pairing between the cheese and raspberry is awesome. Worth Trying

Big Brekkie OK Sep 05, 2015

Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Hotel Dining | Buffet

Big Apple in Berjaya Time Square offer Buffet Breakfast for all it hotel tenants. Here you will find a wide selection of ranging from Bakery, Western Breakfast, Chinese Dim Sum, Malaysia favourite and Indian breakfast which is awesome.

However the food are pretty average in term of taste and presentation. For a 4star hotel, I'm sure they can do better. The bread at the bakery are very hard and dry. Therefore I will advice not to go for that if you are having breakfast.

This place is always packed with people if you reach between 8am to 10am and the place will be very noise and crowded. My best advice is to reach earlier so that you will be able to enjoy your breakfast in peace.

Lychee Pie OK Sep 04, 2015
Categories : Western variety | Restaurant | Burgers / Sandwiches | Halal

Is a raining evening, the easiest dinner after a long day will be a takeaway meal at Mcdonald around my housing area. Furthermore this will be an awesome time for me to try out the the new sensation Lychee Pie.

On my first bite, I get to take the nice crispy puff skin but it a little oily and too flaky. Then I get to try the lychee filling in the pie. The Lychee filling is below my expection. There are no strong lychee fragrant and the taste is a little plain. I cant taste any lychee pieces either.

Overall it is still acceptable as an afternoon snack but comparing to apple pie, I must said I prefer apple pie.

"High-End" Ramen OK Aug 29, 2015
Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Ramen/Udon/Soba

I patron a lot of Ramen restaurant, but Hokkaido Ramen Santouka's Ramen is one of the expensive ramen restaurant for casual dining. The picture of the set meal look small but the actual portion is large. You get the best of both world as you get to have noodle and rice.

But I personally prefer the rice more as the Ramen is a little too salty. I'm not aa pork lover so I don't fancy the pork in the Ramen so much as it too fat.

Customer service in the store are just average because the staffs have very little knowledge with their products. Moreover the restaurant is very crowded and too noisy. It nothing close to the price you paid.
