Kedai Kopi 1499 is a newly open hawker center at Bandar Teknologi, Kajang. I heard my cousin said there is a stall selling Handmade Loh Mee which is not bad to try lol . It is located at No. 8, Jalan P2/1, Bandar Teknologi Kajang Semenyih.

There are only a few stalls since they are newly open such as Economic Rice stall, Chao Kuey Teow (Fried Kuey Teow) stall and others. The interior is like normal hawker center.

Loh Mee is one of my favourite dish! excited  This Handmade Loh Mee has nailed it! heart It is tasty, smell nice and rich with ingredients. They sell two type of Loh Mee which are black or white. The Black Loh Mee put dark soy sauce while the White does not have dark soy sauce. I ordered a Black one while my brother ordered a White one. The Zhu Yao Zha (Fried Pork Oil) and the Black Vinegar enhance the flavour of the Loh Mee wow . RM 6 per bowl. Besides, they also sell other handmade mee.

For drinks, I ordered Homemade Black Soya Bean which is pure and not too sweet. It cost RM 3.80 yummy

Overall, I definitely will come again because a tasty Loh Mee is very hard to find in Kajang area. love

Categories : Malay | Restaurant | Noodles | Nasi Lemak

Found this restaurant through a TV program, Asia Food War. Decided to try it since it have been awarded as The Best Nasi Lemak in Town wow . This is my first time and I don’t know what to aspect.

The Village Park Restaurant is just beside the Every Sundae, a soft gelato dessert bar. The interior is spacious and you can smell the fragrance of the coconut milk and their fried chicken balloon . Although it is spacious but you still need to wait for table because it was crowded. I guess that day was my lucky day because I only wait for 5-8 minutes to get a table. Usually it takes more than 20 minutes for a table. shocked

I only ordered their famous Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken because I had an ice cream from the next door. I admit their Nasi Lemak is very tasty heart . You can taste the coconut milk in every single spoon. Their Fried Chicken are delicious as well like . It is crispy on the outside and tender in the inside. Their Sambal (Chili sauce) had been awarded as the best Sambal star . For me their Sambal was okay because it was sweet but lacking spice. (I love spicy stuff XD) It cost RM 9.50 included GST.

Overall, I definitely I will come again! They also sell others foods such as Nasi Lemak with Rendang Daging, Sambal Sotong( Squid) and more Malay’s foods. yummy

Ambiance: 5/10
Price: 8/10
Food: 8/10Nasi
Verdict: A plate of Nasi Lemak that you must try at least once! king

Found this cute and lovely dessert shop in Instagram and decided to try their gelatos.
It is another soft gelato dessert bar by Cielo Dolci. Cielo Dolci is well-known in their Italian Gelato star . What special about Every Sundae is their “customize your own soft gelato” excited . They have different variety of base, gelato flavours and toppings to let you mix and match your own food.

Every Sundae is located beside Village Park Nasi Lemak, the best nasi lemak in town star . You can enjoy a plate of aromatic nasi lemak from the next door before enjoy Every Sundae. The entrance is decorate with colourful stickers. The interior was cute, colourful and the space is limited.

Every Sundae offers semi self-service, where you order and pay at the counter and they will serve your dessert once is ready. They provide plain water, tissue and cutleries beside the coffee machine.

I ordered their signature sundaes, Summer in Tokyo because I love green tea or matcha dessert. Summer in Tokyo is a Belgian Waffle with Hojicha Soft Gelato and topped with Match White Chocolate and Sesame Brittle. I was a bit disappointed because my waffle have a bit bitter taste sad . The toppings were too sweet for me that the taste of gelato was weaken. It cost RM 19 ++ (included service charge and tax).

Tharani ordered their signature sundae, The Dark Side which consist of Giant Cookie as the base with Deep Dark Chocolate Soft Gelato and topped with Caramel Popcorn and drizzle with Dark Chocolate Fudge. The cookie was abit hard but it is crunchy. I love their gelato because is really a very dark chocolate soft gelato yummy . It cost RM 16.80 (included service charge and tax).

Chie Ling ordered Honey Bunny also from their signature sundae. It is a Belgian Waffle with Cornflakes Milk Soft Gelato topped with Cornflakes Crunch and Caramel Popcorn and Honey is drizzle around the plate. Is a very well combination although I can’t taste cornflakes in the gelato yummy . It cost RM 19++ (included service charge and tax).

.
Pei Pei customized her own dessert by choosing Belgian Waffle as her base with White and Chocolate Soft Gelato (Twist) topped with NY Cheesecake Cubes and drizzle with Butterscotch Sauce. The NY Cheesecake was delicious and it go well with the sauce! like It cost RM 19 ++ (included service charge and tax).

Meanwhile, Nava also customized her own dessert as well. She chosen a cup as her base with Salted Caramel Soft Gelato and topped with Honey Comb and Chocolate Chips Cookies and Dark Chocolate Fudge is drizzle around it. I’m in love with the Salted Caramel Gelato because it was well balanced and delicious! heart It cost RM 14.20 (included service charge and tax).

Overall, the desserts were delicious and creative! We really enjoyed XD balloon . The price is moderate for me and worth it. wow

Ambiance: 6.5/10
Price: 6/10
Food: 7/10
Verdict: Everyday is Sunday at Every Sundae! king

Dim Sum @ Restoran Mexim Dim Sum, Kajang

Restoran Mexim Dim Sum is the first Dim Sum restaurant in Kajang. It was founded more than 10 years. My mom told me that during old days without the helped of machine, the chef hand- made the Dim Sum from scratch. Nowadays, their business has expanded and most of the Dim Sum are machine made but the food still remains humble and fresh.

Restoran Mexim Dim Sum is located at Kajang Town beside a electronic shop. Its a bit to find parking there because the parking space is limited. You might need to go a long way to get parking. During the weekends, it will be full of customers and you might need to wait a few minutes.

Mexim consist two floor. They also provide fans and mobile air-conditioners.
The servers will bring the trays of steamed and deep fried Dim Sums. Just take your pick. I and my friend have some usual items such as Xiu Mai. Their Xiu Mai are made from fresh minced pork. They have different types of Xiu Mai such as Xiu Mai with Salted Egg.

We also ordered Fried Har Gao (Fried Prawn Dumpling)with Mayonise and Wu Gok (Fried Yam) with Char Siew fillings. It is crispy and fresh.

They have 3 type of Chee Cheong Fun (Chinese rice rolls) such as Plain, Prawn and Char Siew. My friend ordered a Char Siew Chee Cheong Fun served with their hand-made sambal. The sambal give a kick to the dish and it help to enhance some flavour to the Chee Cheong Fun.

Meanwhile, I ordered their porridge. I loveee their porridge because it is flavourful and full of stuffs such as century egg, some chicken and dry mussels with chopped green onion and crispy Fu Zok. (recommended)

Overall, delicious foods and worth it! The price is much more cheaper than other Dim Sum restaurants. They also sell Chicken rice which is not bad as well.

Ambiance: 6/10
Price: 7/10
Food: 7.5/10
Verdict: Mexim sell more that 30 types of Dim Sum so you won’t get bored about it.

Korean Cafe & Dessert @ Namoo On The Park, Publika

The arrival of Kpop have been years and so do Korean cuisine. Unlike others Korean restaurants, Namoo is a cafe which have authentic Korean cuisine with modern twist. Namoo On The Park is located inside the Publika, Level G3- 4A. I had brought along my friends to try out this lovely cafe. flower

Namoo’s interior is spacious and decorated with antique style. You can found some old cameras and old stuffs such as typewriter inside the cafe. For families with children it is ver convenient because there is a small park near Namoo. Namoo provide outdoor dining where parents can enjoy their meal while the children are having fun. I really love their environment because it is a nice place for gathering.

I really love spicy foods so I ordered Sweet Chili Omuto with Rice. It is a fried boneless chicken with sweet chili sauce. It taste a bit spicy but the fried chicken is soft in inside and crunchy on the outside. For drink, I ordered a Yuza tea (cold) because I don’t know what it is tongue . At first I thought it was a cup of tea but is actually a soda drink with marinated Yuza, a fruits from Korea. Is a very well combination drink with sweet and a bit sour taste. (recommended) like like like

Tissue, my friend ordered White Cream Omuto. It is a fried rice wrapped with eggs and on top of it is a fried sliced chicken with white sauce. It also served with salad and Kimchi. The white sauce was nice and the fried rice as well. For me is a normal dish. She ordered a cup of Cafe Mocha (hot).

Yee Sin ordered their famous Bibi Rice Burger. Instead of buns, Namoo make a twist by changed it into Rice Buns lol . Rice buns sandwich a piece of chicken patty, egg, cheese, vegetables and sauce. It also served with salad and Kimchi as well. The rice buns were sticky, dense and flavourful. She ordered a cup of Sweet Potato Latte. I took a sip from her, I can taste the sweet potato and it wasn’t that sweet but it was nice! yummy

Xiao Ching ordered Carbonara Pasta which have Korean twist. For me, it taste a bit and i really don’t like it. (don’t have much comment for this ><) ghost . She ordered a Green Tea Latte (right). It wasn’t have that strong green tea taste but it was creamy and smooth. balloon

Meanwhile, my sister ordered Spicy Seafood Ramyum. A normal Korean ramen with egg, vegetables and seafood. For me it wasn’t that spicy and the soup is very flavouful because of the seafood wow . For her drink, she ordered a cup of cold Peach Tea (left). It was interesting because the ice is made from peach juice and you can taste it. excited

Lastly, I ordered a piece of Sweet Potato Cake. About 95% of the cake is made from sweet potato. You can taste the smooth and sticky sweet potato. heart heart

Overall, we really having great time in their cafe because of their environment and foods.
For me the price is on moderate side. Each of us spend minimum RM 16 and above. Namoo also provide traditional korean cuisine such as Kimchi soup. Futhermore, they also provide liquors and snacks.

Ambiance: 7.5/10
Price: 6.5/10
Food: 7.5/10
Verdict: A creative Korean cafe with the combination of Western and Korean twist. king
