30 days came and gone.

(PIC NO FILTER!)Lovely setup from Kalamazoo!Beautiful deco from Kalamazoo. Thanks to Tisha for being able to provide such wonderful decos in such short timing (confirmed venue 2wks and deco and menu in a wk). Also this baby onesie and colours coordination was based on my request (just trying luck). Am glad they are able to have this deco hehe, fits the event perfectly!The buffet spread (not really, still charges per pax). But it was the best package amongst all the others I've compared with and the menu I customized on my own (ownself mix and match). There's also pre-selected menu but I chose to custom it. Btw, it is non-halal and this place is pet-friendly (brought my lil Panda Bi here during the event hehe)Cream of Broccoli - My guests love it. Heck! I love it too!! Lucky got leftover, brought home and heated up for dinner 1 huge bowl, so so yummy! Breakfast sausage - Love the setting, the grilled outlook and who can resist sausage!! I told myself I must have sausages right after confinement, and here you go!Mushroom Bolognese Spaghetti - Need I say more? Everyone love it, not too sweet, not too sour. The sauce is just perfect, the spaghetti (although common) but chewy and springy enough.Beef Meatballs - Yes, I miss Ikea Beef Meatballs and this is close enough! I have to say this seems like it's made from scratch, fragrant enough and tasty till the last bite!Pork Meatloaf - I miss the chicken meatloaf I used to eat at Logenhaus @ Taipan. That's the reason for this food choice. I was anticipating this the most! And I highly recommend this, totally made from scratch, you can taste the goodness in every bite! Can eat this with or without the brown gravy, it just tastes great!! I'll be back here for more pork delicacies!Pesto Cheesy Chicken - I decided to take the risk and go for this! Never tried pesto with cheese and chicken combination. The others on the menu was kinda common for cooking with chicken. I wanted something different, something nobody has eaten or ordered outside anywhere. And I miss cheese... This came out perfect! Didn't expect this to taste so good that it almost melt in your mouth!Ice Lemon Tea & Drinking Water - This was kinda common, but tasty nonetheless. I miss cold drinks and I miss ICE LEMON TEA!! I wanted to pick Peach Tea but I decided not to because I don't think everyone has a thing for Peach like me. Anyway, I had my fair share of Ice Peach Tea here the day before when we came to check out this place for the final arrangements (it was awesome-powsome!!)Overall, I decided I wanted more meat for my guests (and ME!) so my custom menu is made of Beef, Pork & Chicken. Ha-ha! And my menu choices is based on what I wanted to try (crave for after confinement!!!). They say, when you're hungry, anything tastes good! I say, whether or not I'm hungry or craving for certain food types, my selection of food never failed me nor my hubby once!

Highly recommend this place! My first time here too and will not be my last, I'll be back to try those succulent pork burger... (mouthwatering now...)Ended the day with opening the presents from our lovely friends & families for baby Daniel. Must capture the moment so that I can tell him his precious moments and stories when he grows up hehe...

11th Dec 2014, Baby Daniel's Fullmoon Dinner with family members and the end of my confinement!

After doing my research online, I decided for baby Daniel's first outing; I wanted a cosy clean environment and preferably with easy access. We decided for I.Prefer.Original (I.P.O) Malaysian Food @ One City. The entrance is simple, cosy and inviting.This was behind the cashier. Artsy wall deco stickers.The kitchen which u can peep through inside. U can see the 3 chefs inside preparing the meals.The wallpaper at the dining area is of lush soft green, gives a very comfortable cool feeling.Their menu. That coffee looks real from this angle hehe...From left - Has lemongrass, lime, soda and mint in it and the one on the right has strawberry, soda, lime and grape.

Yummy drinks to quench our thirst!Otak-Otak, we loved it! As good as the Otak-otak from Muar, JB. But it was no longer available on the menu.

Because we came here before, we decided to bring our family members here. Nasi Lemak & Char Koay Teow under one roof, what more can we ask for.

The latest addition at The Main Place USJ 21. The interior design is quite interesting, the seating area beautifully decorated like you're at sea. The graffiti art on the wall and the food is really good here too. Fresh seafood, especially the fish! I ordered the "Baked Salmon with Citrus Crust" (RM 27.95) & completed my Salmon dish into a meal by adding RM8.95 for a drink & soup. We then decided after that to add on another ala-carte meal "The Best Fish & Chips in Town" (RM 16.95).

A German western cuisine shop. We came here for a quick dinner and they had a set meal promotion available. My hubby ordered the Roasted Half Chicken set meal promotion (RM 19.98) comes with a Spezi & Soup of the day. I ordered the Meat Loaf (RM 16.90) ala carte.

Penang Road Famous "Teo Chew Chendul" @ Main Place USJ 21.

They finally opened a branch here in Subang Jaya. Been hearing about this place but never had the chance to try it out.We're been to Penang once but never gotten the chance to try the real Chendul there because we were more fixated on the the "Coconut Jelly" or "Char Koey Teow" or "Assam Laksa". So we didn't manage to google about Chendul in Penang.But amazingly this "Original Chendul" (RM 4.90) has quite a generous amount of red beans and the green pandan jelly. Tastes really yummy with it's brown sugar and ice shavings and the santan blended just nice. However, I still prefer the Chendul sold at SS15 (the one next to the Rojak stall with the longest queue at the roadside).This is "Kuang Jiang" (RM 5.90) it's like radish paste with beans and nuts wrapped in popiah skin and fried to brown perfection. It's like eating the traditional chinese "Kuih Lobak" only with a twist. Quite tasty for a quick snack/treat.This is the "Rojak" (RM 6.90) I would say it definitely has a lil scent of Penang Rojak. I've never really eaten Rojak at Penang myself, I've only bought the sauce back home instead from one of the "Hitam Manis" stall. Thanks to our local friends there who directed us to the place to buy the sauce home & DIY. But this rojak although the sauce seems lacking of some authentic flavours, it's almost close the ones you can eat at Penang. The ingredients inside was hard to differentiate which is which but it was all good. If only they served more of those crispy bites instead.So whether it's with friends or with family. This is a good place to just sit & relax and just savour in these sweet delicacies and just make-believe u're in Penang or almost there. Great for tea time.
