Citrus Wine & Dine @ Ipoh Smile Sep 29, 2015

To my surprise, my Brother Google for a good western food in
Ipoh to celebrate my sister 21st birthday. After going through all
the choices, he chooses Citrus Wine & Dine for Birthday celebration. The
restaurant is located same row with Thai Mookata Steamboat and it will be very
easy to spot the restaurant from the road with a big signboard on the right
hand side. The restaurant serves varieties of western foods like Appetiser,
Main Course, Desserts, and Beverages. The ambiance of the restaurant was simple
yet they serve delicious foods. Couple of people occupied the restaurant when
we arrived around 10pm as it was almost their closing time yet the staffs still
serve us with smiling face. I ordered
Lemongrass Chicken, Carbonara Spaghetti, Fish & Chips, Pan Seared Salmon,
Single Scoop Vanilla Ice Cream, Pandan Crepe With Caramelised Banana and
Vanilla Ice- Cream, Warm Chocolate Cake And Strawberry Milkshake.

Strawberry Milkshake is a mix of milk and Strawberry Ice
Cream. It was cool, creamy and definitely a delicious drink.

Carbonara Spaghetti was cooked perfectly and my spaghetti swim in a pool of creamy sauce and generous amount of bacon. Delicious!!

Fish & Chips was fried until golden brown while retaining the juiciness of the meat. Fries are good and the mayonnaise goes well with the Fries and Fish & Chips. Squeeze the lemon over it before enjoys them.

Lemongrass Chicken was tender and well seasoned. Yummy!! The mashed potato was smooth and has a very rich butter taste. It does not require any sauce to go with. I loved them.

Pan Seared Salmon was pan fried beautifully until the skin turns crispy and it was cooked perfect. It has its own flavour to stand out without any special sauce to go with it. It was my first time trying it but I would say I loved them.

Single Scoop Vanilla Ice Cream

Pandan Crepe with Caramelised Banana and Vanilla Ice Cream. It was a layer of Pandan crepe served with a caramelised banana, Fruits, Vanilla Ice Cream and sprinkled with sugar. Everything worked together from combination, flavour and taste.

Warm Chocolate is perfect for chocolate lovers. I love the oozing of chocolate from the Warm Chocolate cake that is so yummy. Enjoy them with a strawberry jam, Vanilla Ice-Cream, and fruit for an amazing taste.

It
was a perfect birthday celebration with my family. Humble& friendly
service, delicious foods and gorgeous food presentations that sure want
you guys to take photo to share in Facebook & Instagram. To find a
delicious western food in Ipoh is very difficult and this would be a
perfect place in Ipoh to satisfy your western food cravings. The total
bill was RM 220 including the foods and drinks.

Planned to have dinner at The Red Bean Bag but it was closed
on the day we went therefore we changed our plan to Ichiban Boshi that is
located at Level G3, Publika. The restaurant serves wide varieties of Japanese
Cuisine and value set menus. The ambiance of the restaurant was good and they
have both indoor and outdoor seating area. I prefer outdoor seating so that we
can enjoy the foods in the relaxed environment. I ordered Tori Curry Cheese
Goze.

Ocha (Hot) @ RM 2.30

The set include of Curry Chicken With Cheese, Tempura, Miso Soup, Chawmushi, Fruit, Salad, Tofu and Steamed Rice.

Tori Curry Cheese Goze @ RM 32.50

Salad was served with fresh vegetables (Cherry Tomato, Cucumber and Iceberg). It tasted good with the dressing.

Chawmushi was smooth and tasty.

A scrumption combination of chicken, cheese and curry. Delicious!!

It was valuable dinner for us. The set can be shared by 2 person and we were super full from that. Good service (If you are seated outside they have a call button on the table for the customers to press if they need any assistance). Tasty food and valuable deal.

Service Charge: Nil

GST: 6% (Price in the menu is inclusive of GST)

Planning to celebrate special occasion or birthday, Thirty 8
Grand Hyatt would be a perfect place with magnificent 360-degree Kuala Lumpur
View and you can enjoy your meal by looking at PETRONAS Twin Tower. It is just
perfect. Celebrated my sister 21st birthday at Thirty 8 Grand Hyatt.
Thirty 8 Grand Hyatt is located at Level 38 and you have to walk 1 floor lower
for the restaurant (There will be a staircase on your right leading to the
restaurant). We are welcomed by the
staff upon entering the restaurant and after registered ourselves with name and
phone number we were seated on the table that is facing the PETRONAS Twin
Tower. We went there for an afternoon Tea therefore we just ordered Thirty 8
Signature Dessert and Acqua Panna, as it is too early for a drink.

Acqua Panna 750ml @ RM 22.30

After patiently waited for 20 minutes our dessert arrived. It was carried by the young guy and placed in front of us with a smoky effect from the dry ice.

He poured the Butterscotch over the cake.

Fantastic! The sweetness from the chocolate contrasting with the sourish from the raspberries gives a unique taste. Loved It.

Thirty 8 Signature Cake @ RM 38.59

It was a perfect Birthday celebration for us. The place was gorgeous, the service was top notch, and it will be always best memories for us. I loved everything about the restaurant from the service, ambiance, food and hospitality. Price in the menu is inclusive of service charge and GST.

Parking Charges: Free for in house guests

Naughty Babe Dirty Duck  Smile Sep 29, 2015

We went Dip N Dip Bangsar for dessert but on the way to Dip
N Dip we saw Naughty Babe Dirty Duck crowded with people therefore I wanted to
give it a try during my next visit to Bangsar as I heard a mixed review about
the restaurant. The restaurant is located next to KGB (Killer Gourmet Burger).
The restaurant offers limited choices of foods while a wide varieties of
beverages. We were there to try their Naughty Babe Dirty Duck BBQ Pork Ribs. We
just ordered Half Slab of Ribs to try as it only two of us (Me and my sister)
and it should be more than enough for us. Couple of people occupied the
restaurant when we arrived at 5pm, as it is too early for dinner. The ambiance
of the restaurant was welcoming and cool. They have 2 types of seating for the
customers (Indoor and outdoor) and we prefer indoor as it was hot outside but
at night outdoor would be good choice. I
loved their environment.

They have 2 types of sauce to go with the ribs (Tomato sauce and Hot stuff). We choose Hot Stuff sauce for our ribs. It tasted spicy and gives a kick to the ribs when you eat them together. The Ribs was seasoned well, tender and the meat breaks apart from the bone very easily.

Naughty Babe Dirty Duck (Half Slab) @ RM 38

It was yummylicious late lunch for us. The staffs are friendly and lovely environment. Good place to drop by dinner or hangout with friends.

We pass by this restaurant on our way to
dinner at Ainnie 1. It attract us with the warm environment and new look and
there are not many Thai Restaurant in Damansara Uptown. So we wanted to have a
look at their menu but they are not officially opened yet. So sad!! Therefore,
we planned to drop by in future once they are officially opened. Therefore,
when there is a sudden crave for Pad Thai, this restaurant came to my mind
therefore we went there for dinner. The restaurant offers limited Thai food
choices but covers all the popular & must eat Thai foods. We are welcomed
by the host at the entrance before seating on the comfortable table. The
ambiance of the restaurant was good, cool and comfortable table for 4 person
and we no need to squeeze with each other while eating. Couple of people
occupied the cafe when we arrived as it still new. We ordered Classic Pad Thai
Noodles, Pineapple Fried Rice, Green Curry Fried Rice and Mango Sticky Rice.

Refillable water.

Green curry fried rice was something unique than the normal green curry. It was served with chicken wing, egg and special sauce. It was spicy and well flavoured with green curry. Tasty!!

Green Curry Fried Rice @ RM 16

Classic Pad Thai Noodles was simple yet tasty. It has a perfect balance of the sweet and tangy flavour.

Classic Pad Thai Noodles @ RM 15

I was happy to see Pineapple fried rice served in real pineapple. It tasted similar to the one we had in Phuket. Stir fried rice sweetened with pineapple and spices. They are very generous with amount of the prawns.

Pineapple Fried Rice @ RM 16

Mango Sticky Rice was yummy. The mango was sweet and goes well with the sticky rice. I wish they serve more mangos in future as it was not enough to eat with the sticky rice.

Mango Sticky Rice @ RM 12

It was perfect dinner for us. The environment was clean, friendly service, delicious foods and gorgeous presentations. Sure, everyone wanted to snap picture to post in Instagram.
