Today going to try Loh Mee at Kim Lian Kee stall.
Loh Mee - Is using the same thick yellow noodles as the Hokkien Mee. The noodle was springy.
The soup is thickened by starch and egg and with other ingredient prawn, squid, pork meat ,vegetable.
It quite a big bowl potion and serve piping hot.
The Loh mee has a light taste.
It was flavorful and nice when added with black vinegar lol

Hojicha Tea Latte Smile Apr 04, 2013

Hojicha is Green tea from Japan that is rendered brown by roasting Bancha (a summer crop tea, harvested after Sencha) tea leaves.
When you open the lid of its cup,it has bubbly foam like muddy.
You can smell the strong Roasted Green Tea although the look are not so attractive tongue
It has a strong roasted taste with milk. It wont too sweet and too bitter taste like Green Tea Latte.
I Love it lol

Wong Kok Char Chan Teng is a restaurant which has variety of food and beverages.
It a nice place to hang out for its Hong Kong style food and cozy modern ambient.

We have ordered their value set. Each set comes with 1 drink to choose , 1 soup (sweet corn cream soup or borsch soup) and 1 dessert or fruit.

Rice with superior soup with chinese herb - RM 13.60
The soup taste a bit spicy and some chinese herb taste. It nice to eat together with minced meat, mushroom and Lycium (Kei Chi).
It quite flavorful and appetizing.
It serve with piping hot and just perfect when during cold and rainy weather lol

Cheese baked spaghetti with chicken chop in Portuguese Sauce - RM 18.80
The Portuguese sauce was thick is like Japanese curry. The Chicken Chop is soft and tender.
The taste was good and I like the sauce that blended well with the baked spaghetti with melted cheese.

The overall taste was good and satisfy lol but service wise the staff need some improvement for it.

Prawn Mee Smile Mar 26, 2013

Prawn Mee is one of my favorite food list.
For me, to have a good bowl of prawn mee is the soup.

The soup was good, can taste it was cooked with a lot of prawn shells.
The condiment for this noodle with few slices of pork, some halved shrimps, kangkung and half of hard boiled egg.
You can get the chili paste to put in to add more spicy 'kick' in the soup.

Overall this prawn mee is good but not the best i have tried other place before.

Categories : Chinese | Kopitiam | Bak Kut Teh

This round we going to try the Bak Kut Teh stall.
We have ordered 2 version of Bak Kut Teh - The wet soup and the dry.

Okay let begin with the wet soup version.

The soup was mild taste but more preferable more strong herbal taste with it.
Overall the soup version was okay.

Now going to Dry Version

It using pork belly cooked together with garlic, chilli padi with lots of dark soya souce.
The meat is spicy and with a strong fragrant that was pretty appetizing.
It went well with the bowls of white rice.

After trying the both version of Bak Kut Teh - The winner is the Dry Version lol
