Vegeterian Hot & Spicy Pan Mee OK Dec 12, 2013
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles

Face to Face Noodles House serving all kind of noodles from the house specialty Pan Mee types to Laksa Noodles, Mihoon and Rice . Not just these but also serving toast , deserts and veriaty of beverages. Face to Face is a chain restaurant, just in Petaling Jaya North itself can spot more then 3 outlets. Today I tried the Vegetarian Pan Mee version meat free. It's dried type blend in house specialty chili sauce, mixture

flavor of sambal and tom yam. It came with some Choy Sam vege and few slices of fried Siew Ngor( 斉烧鹅) , it was fragrant and crispy nice to eat with the noodles. It was too hot and spicy to me but good taste, i liked the Pan Mee Noodle's texture as well, smooth and springy. Priced RM 6.50 . For those who love hot stuff you can add in the homemade chili flakes to get the superb hot sensation . For desert I called a bowl of Cendol Red Bean , very appearing and taste not bad too as i can tasted the gula malacca created a good smell. Priced RM 3.50 very cheap and worth for try.

Potato Fried Pork Smile Dec 10, 2013   (Related Review)

This is the restaurant that serves Chinese cuisine, newly opened not long ago with new premises ,air-conditioning ,simple deco with homey feel.
Signature dishes Potato Fried Pork (马铃薯猪肉),Deep Fried Ma Yao Fish ( 油浸马友),Nyonya Steam Talapia Fish ( 娘惹蒸非洲鱼), Steam Lala (上汤啦啦). The restaurant is famous of Potato Fried Pork so I decided to try it out , potato in thin slices stir fries garlic with pork in dark soy sauce. The garlic actually added good aroma to the dish. Not too salty and nice taste. It is suitable for everybody. Price Rm13(s)
For those who think of mum's cook, this dish is a best choice. Another dish that I would like to recommend is Lightly Stir Fried Sweet Potato Leaves. The vegetables were fresh and soft in texture , feeling smooth in every bites, nicely cooked and garlicky taste. Price for this Rm10.

Sweet And Sour Pork OK Dec 10, 2013
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood

Two dishes that for sure to order whenever we visit to a Chinese restaurant. The Sweet and Sour Pork and Omelet . New Peng Wah restaurant also serving these two dishes but the turned out a bit disappointment. For Sweet and Sour Pork the unbalanced of sweetness and the sourness taste causing failure to this dish, it was under my expectation ,

lacked of 'Kick' . I hope the chief can improve this recipe for a better taste. And for the Omelet ( Fu Yong Eggs), nice taste but slightly oily.

tongue Restoran Kar Hiong very easy to spot as it facing main road. Always crowded with people as you can see this scene when passing by the road at Subang Jaya. Especially on weekend you actually need to wait to be seated. But the service here very fast and good. Food served to you less then 15 minutes.
I ordered Steam Lala with broth (上汤), I got a shocked when this dish served to me

as the Lala were huge and much more bigger size comparing other restorans. The Lala were perfectly cooked , fresh and have succulence flesh. The broth taste great . I sipped in all the broth without wasting as it yummy! Worth to try it , price just RM12 (s) .

Ginger Fish Slices Smile Dec 08, 2013

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood | Noodles

Another must try dish is Ginger Fish Slices (姜葱鱼片). This dish cooked with plenty of ginger slices and spring onions. Stir fried with fish slices and the gravy taste delicious. The fish slices were fresh enough presented a sweet taste. Quite a big portion for just RM 15 (S). For those who love to eat egg,

you can try this fried egg with long bean , a very homey taste with plenty of diced long bean selling a plate at RM6 (s) only. Extremely cheap!
