You can't miss this eye-cathing truck in the middle of the pasar malam. Although it's painted black, it's huge. The items are all listed on the banner hanging on the truck. Both the left and right banners have the same menu. I had the refreshing Honey Lemon Green Tea QQ. It has quite a strong tea taste and it's not sweet. the taste was quite refreshing and authentic. There were only coconut jelly without pearl like how Chatime had. The jelly was bouncy and tangy, quite nice to chomp.

Came by USJ Taipan for breakfast with a couple of friends one morning. One of them brought us to this relatively new Dim Sum restaurant, called G-YiTang.

Unlike most dim sum restaurants, G-YiTang does not have staffs pushing their trolleys of dimsum to serve us. Instead we were given an order chit and just order whatever we want.One of the first few things we took were the customary har gao and siew mai. These 2 dishes to me, determines whether or not the dimsum is good. Upon the first bite, I was happy to say that the har gao is quite satisfactory. The skin was not too thick, nor was it too thin until it will break upon picking it up. The siew mai was not as good, but still passable. It has some nice porky taste with it, and it is quite packed and firm but it tasted a bit bland.Another highlight would be the Shanghai Siew Long Bao. This dish is never easy to make, and unfortunately I felt that G-YiTang did not make it well enough. The skin was too thick, although the soup inside the dumpling was quite nice.

A great start to the morning with dim sum!

Came by SS15 one day for dinner with friends and he brought me to this interesting restaurant.This restaurant is a chain restaurant in which the original restaurant is in Chan Sow Lin, KL which is famous for its steamed fish.

My friend did the ordering, and since there's only 3 of us we decided against ordering the steam fish and opted for something else.First to arrive the spinach soup arrived. It was very sweet, as there were much wolfberries (kei zhi) used for the soup. It goes very well with rice as well.Next was the Deep Fried Fish Head in Black Bean (taosi) sauce. The fish was very crispy during the first bite, and even though I'm not a fan of black bean, I found this dish to be delicious mainly because of the taosi which blends well with the fried fish.The 3 cup chicken in claypot arrived almost the same time. This was also another strong and rich tasting dish, which is good to be served with rice. The chicken was tender and smooth as chicken thighs were mainly used in this dish.

A decent meal for 3 of us, left us satisfying and most likely will be coming for more in the future.

Everytime I come to Mid Valley I always have a problem to select a meal, as there are many varieties. I try to explore every time and this time it is no different.

I have tried Popeyes at the E@Curve branch and I like that one. So I would expect the outlet here to be decent as well.I ordered 2 piece chicken, with biscuits and coleslaw as sides. The chicken here seemed a little bigger than the one in Mutiara Damansara, but it just be me, as I was not very hungry at that time.

The chicken was a little more oily, but it is still the same ol' taste compared to their other branch. I liked the coleslaw very much, as it has some extra ingredients such as raisins, which goes very well with the other vegetables. The biscuit was OK, nothing special.

For RM15, it was a little expensive compared to KFC but it is more delicious in my opinion, and hopefully they are here to stay.

Came by for dinner the other day at Suki-ya, as I was feeling very hungry. Buffet is usually the most value for money type of meals especially when I am hungry.

We were allowed to choose 2 between the 4 different soup bases which are Shabu Shabu, Miso, Sukiyaki and Kimchi. I ordered the Shabu shabu and my other half ordered the Sukiyaki.We then proceeded to order some thinly sliced lamb, beef and chicken slices. After adding some vegetable as recommended, we then dipped the sliced meat into the boiling water for a short while. The meat would be ready to be eaten! The whole night I was busy gorging on the meat as I find it really delicious.There were other food items which you can take yourself, ranging from vegetables to shellfishes.

For a price of RM92.35, it is a little expensive, but since it is in a nice shopping mall with nice interior decoration, I guess that is justifiable.
