Fried Glass Noodle Smile Dec 25, 2012

If you order from this guy during meal times, you will see him frying non stop! He also sells fried kuey teow but I like his fried glass noodle. You will find lots of big fat prawns inside (fresh every time) along with juicy bean sprouts, sausage and cockles. You HAVE to eat it spicy or else it will be tasteless but if you can't take spicy food, you can ask him for less spicy. Portion is great for RM 4.50.

Sausage bread Smile Dec 25, 2012

Sausage bread has always been one of my favourites and can be found in almost any bakery but this one at Berry's is slightly more special. The bread they use is healthy as it is wholemeal bread which provides that extra texture and fill. Sprinkled on top are crunchy pumpkin seeds. The fragrant and chewy sausage compliments the bread very well, adding just enough taste.

Curry Laksa Smile Dec 25, 2012   (Related Review)

I don't normally eat spicy food but this is an exception! It tastes best with 'lai fun' (the noodle you see here). Curry isn't too spicy but it's very full of taste. As you go through the bowl, you will notice that they are quite generous with the amount of bean sprouts, chicken, calamari and 'tofu pok'. However, there has been several occasions where the squid wasn't very fresh. Didn't stop me from returning though! It's simply too delish!

Also ordered this fried century egg dumpling (RM 6.50 for 3 pcs) as a side order. The skin is super crispy (it was freshly made and still warm) but slightly oily. The dumpling actually tasted good but I found it to be too salty and the taste of the century egg was overwhelmed. Such a waste.. Also, as I bit inside I found a surprise! Another strand of hair! There's no denying that this time it was definitely from the kitchen as it was inside the dumpling.

Probably the only good thing I had was the homemade soya with cincau (RM 4). The restaurant is quite packed during lunch time so maybe there are other good food?
