Truffles Smile Aug 07, 2012   (Related Review)

I simply love the way they presented their spread. I believe these are their chocolate truffles or chocolate fudge pops. A tiny treat on a stick. Liked the chocolate because they aren't too sweet. The colourful sprinkles on top look so lovely but they're just sugar.

I don't really recall but I think this is smoked salmon. Love the flower shaped bread. How pretty!

Small bites Smile Aug 07, 2012

Met up with a group of friends where Delectable by Su handled the catering. The foodstuff were prepared in small bite sizes to be shared. The ones on the left are some sort of alfalfa sandwiches which are so yummy! Every bite fills your mouth with a fresh and green taste added with the natural fragrance of the alfalfa. To the right are mushroom tarts which I didn't fancy as much due to the thick and hard crust.

Temari Sushi Smile Aug 07, 2012   (Related Review)

Given a choice between sashimi and sushi (with rice), I would go for the plain sashimi. Just seems to be more worth the price I paid. However, this is an exception. Who could say no to this cute fella? This round sushi is Temari Sushi. Seeing the assorted colours (tuna, salmon & butterfish) on the plate is so nice. The rice is more compact here as the sashimi wraps tightly around it. The salmon is fresh, soft and melty. Dipping it slightly into shoyu brings out the flavour in the sashimi and compliments the vinegar rice.

Curry Ramen Smile Aug 07, 2012   (Related Review)

I consider the Curry Ramen to be an affordable meal since it has meat, half an egg (plain egg) and vegetables at only RM 7.90. The soup tasted of regular curry (the kind in instant noodles). It was spicy enough but didn't pack a punch. Meat and vegetables were cooked well enough. The meat had a salty crispy skin. Not only is the food here affordable, so are the drinks! I've been to places that charge RM 10 for Coca Cola which is absurd! On my previous visit I had blackcurrant soda and this time I had Hot Lemon Tea. Both are quite nice despite the price. Soda wasn't too sweet and it's not some regular Ribena with water.

Mexican bun Smile Aug 07, 2012

One of my favourite breads to buy here is the Mexican Bun. It's a soft fluffy bun coated in a delicate layer of coffee flavoured 'crumbs'. Careful! These crumbs can be quite messy so eat in the bag. As you bite inside you will discover that the center is hollow and filled with fragrant butter. I love the combination of the sweet coffee outside and the salty butter inside.
