Fish head Smile Jan 08, 2013   (Related Review)

Next, we ordered two fish heads, one cooked in assam sauce and the other steamed with ginger. The assam sauce was absolutely terrific! Needless to say, we all finished our rice with the spicy and sour sauce. Ginger one wasn't very 'spicy' but it did a good job bringing out the sweetness of the fish. Both fishes seemed fresh but the sauces would have covered any unpleasant taste anyway.

Brinjal & Long Beans Smile Jan 08, 2013
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood

Parking is plentiful in the area and even across the road. Staff are very attentive and fast, food arrived promptly and the environment is like a normal Chinese restaurant.

First up is a plate of fried brinjal with long beans and deep fried crispy dried prawns. The dish was not too oily which is quite common with brinjals. Dried prawns were very fragrant and gave a nice aroma and taste to the dish.

French Vanilla Smile Jan 08, 2013

Mmm.. Look at all those layers.

The one here is French Vanilla.

"Our signature flavour infused with vanilla, light, subtle, not overly-creamy, not overly-sweet but oh ... so yummy!!!"

After hearing so many good comments on this cake, I was honestly a tiny bit disappointed. The cake was very tasty with it's strong egg & vanilla taste. You could feel every layer on your tongue and every mouthful coaxed you into having another bite. However, it turned out a bit harder than I would like, possibly been in the fridge for too long.

Price ranges from RM 72 to RM 104, depending on size and topping. There are 15 toppings to choose from including Peanut Butter Blueberry, Reese's Pieces and Fresh Strawberries. They also have delivery service (RM 15) which is awesome! Looking at their menu, I'm greatly tempted to give the others a shot.

Tasty and affordable Smile Jan 02, 2013

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles | Porridge

I don't wake up early enough for breakfast most of the time but this time I followed my parents out!

The place is quite huge as it occupies 2 shoplots. Plenty of parking in the area although may be tricky to find during meal times. The place is comfortable and staff are friendly.

They guarantee that no boric acid or preservatives are used in the food.

All of us ordered the Noodle Soup because it's only RM 3.50! Mine's with glass noodle. Comes with bouncy and fresh fishballs. The soup is tasty but the dish tastes awesome with the chilli provided.

Not sure if homemade soya milk but it's very silky and smooth, not too sweet. You can taste the freshness of it that is different from commercialized ones. And they don't charge extra for a cold cup (only 20 cents more for cold tea and coffee) ^_^

Food here looks quite healthy and affordable. There's also a variety of add ons available.

And desserts alongside the drinks!

IMO, this place is quite cheap for PJ and the quality + environment is quite good.

Business hours : 8am - 11pm daily

Spending per head: Approximately RM6(早餐)

Sup Daging Smile Dec 31, 2012
Categories : Malaysian variety | Restaurant

I've always preferred the sup daging here as the chef is very generous with the amount of
celery, giving the soup a lighter and greener taste (still favourful) compared to many other places where the soup is murky and tastes very meaty. Don't mistaken the green chilli as celery though! The spicy and sour-ish soup is a great appetite opener. I can have this alone with a plate of rice as it has lots of meat inside as well. Costs RM 8 for soup and rice.
