I normally come to this shopping center during breakfast hour.
Delifrance is one of my favorite breakfast places, their breakfast set starts from RM4!

Mini Crossant - Toast & Cheese

I normally order this Mini Croissant - Toast & Cheese, come with a cup of tea/coffee.
add on RM1.50 for 2 scoops of mash potatoes. the mash potatoes taste so so though.

Not bad for breakfast but I hope they toast the croissant before serving though. (I will like it more if the cheese is melted in the croissant too! =p)

There is boat in the restaurant, a lot of ponds too.. you can imagine there can be a lot of mosquitoes around too.. >.<
Nasi Lemak with Ayam Goreng

Nasi Lemak with Ayam Goreng

Taste like nasi lemak, nothing much to complain.
Beef Lasagna

Looks not good but taste not bad.

What I remember about this cafe is mosquitoes and their extra sweet ice lemon tea! >.<
Also, the environment is not bad, a lot of special decorations (eg. the boat that I took photos), and some seating is in private pondok! somehow remind me of a restaurant in Bali~ The food is not too bad, the price range is affordable too.

Yummy Taiwan is a non halal restaurant.

Their bubble milk tea is not bad. RM4.90. You will get 20% discount if you order it with a main course during lunch hour.

I love their meat sauce rice!
This is a set, RM9.90. A bowl of rice, come with half spiced egg and tofu.
another side dish is very special, sweet potato/yam balls with tuna fish. I thought these taro balls should always be in dessert bowl but the salted combination is quite good too!

Zha Jiang Mian, meat sauce & vege noodles.
Healthy choice, not bad either.

Mushroom meat sauce noodles, for those who don't like dry noodles.

Not a happy high-tea Cry Dec 09, 2012

I am not happy with my recent visit at STS.
Went with a friend for high tea, ordered a pot of tea and 5 different flavors macaroons, on a weekday afternoon.
chocolate mint tea

chocolate mint tea

the tea was good, nothing much to complain. The friendly waitress even offer us honey to go with the tea but we didn't need it because we have macaroons as our sweeteners. But the problem came from the macaroons.
rose macaroon

rose macaroon

the first one we tried was the rose flavor, which we most looking forward to.
we wanted to cut it into half with tea spoon but was not able to do so. it was hard like a rock! when we finally got it into two part, we found tat the middle was already harden up like candy. I think it is not fresh. very very upset with this but we did not inform or complain to the staff.
Just that our mood for that afternoon was spoiled. And I think I will not order macaroons from STS anymore.
