When you step into the restaurant compound, you are immediately transported into a tranquil setting with a balinese feel. I love their decor and was really excited to try their food. To start off, I ordered the Raspberry Bandung with Roses Flavour drink. Usually I am not keen for iced drinks but this time I am glad I tried it. The bandung syrup has a sweetness that was not overpowering like some bandung mixes. I think they struck a balance with the milk and syrup. It has a nice aroma from the rose flavour. It was more like the flowery version of a teh tarik with the smooth milky texture and a layer of syrup at the bottom. There was just enough ice to chill the drink. A good choice although it cost RM8.

I really like the Jujube Tea at B Station, a korean restaurant. This is actually a kind of date with a slightly earthy and sweet taste that was so natural. The juice is a bit like tangerine taste but not as strong and there are bits of the pulp in the drink. There were bits of pine nuts added for extra taste. The pine nuts with its special flavour really made the tea taste unique. Everything about this restaurant really calms the mind. I will definitely return although the food is just normal.

One of the dishes I ordered here is the Soft Beancurd Soup. This is a signature Korean soup made from bean paste but not the Japanese variety. The taste is unique, not as strong as I like it to be and a bit too diluted. It has a slightly salty taste from the bean paste and there were other flavours from the seafood ingredients like squid, prawns and clams which were sweet and fresh. When paired with rice, it was quite heavy and I did not have to order any other item. Each bowl is RM12.50 before tax.

With an intimate setting in this restaurant, I really feel very much at home. This time I ordered their Kimchi Soup which is served with white rice. The soup came in a heavy metal bowl which maintains its heat. There were tofu and seafood in the soup and the kimchi tasted just mildly spicy which for me is fine since I do not take spicy food well. However, it may be too mild for most tastes. Taste wise, it is flavoured well by the seafood and has a tinge of sour from the kimchi. All the ingredients were cooked well and tasted passable. Frankly I really came back for the ambience only. The soup cost RM12.50 which is reasonable. Banchan dishes are replenished unlimited times.

The restaurant is really a surprising find for me. The decor is really quaint with lots of quirky stuff hanging on the walls and creates a really homely feel.

In actual fact it is a Korean restaurant and one of the dishes we tried is the Bibimbap which is a signature korean mixed rice. Ingredients are sliced and arranged in a metal bowl and traditionally topped with a raw egg. But at B station, they had the egg fried to cater to those that are health conscious. The ingredients are carrots, cucumber, preserved vegetables and seaweed. A special korean chili paste is served in a separate dish and is to be added to the rice for mixing all the ingredients together before eating.

I like the chili paste which has a sweet spicy taste and it really binds the rice together with the ingredients. The vegetables provided lots of color and were quite fresh. I find the rice a little disappointing because it was a bit soggy from overcooking. Other than the taste of the chili, the seaweed and preserved vegetables gave the rice a bit of salty flavour that was not really that appealing. There were side dishes served which are replenished unlimited times. These actually tasted even better than the main dish. There were braised potatoes, pickled cucumber, kimchi and a noodle salad.

Overall I was won over by the decor and ambience more than the food and still plan to return to try their other dishes.
