Best Chee Cheong Fun spotted! Smile Feb 27, 2016
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Chinese | Kopitiam

At 9am today, my friends and I decided to hunt one of the best Chee Cheong Fun in town.
At first I was wondering, Har? Genting Chee Cheong Fun? Seriously?
Are we going to drive all the way to Pahang for this Cheong Fun?
But well, I'm glad we're not or else I would be starving max.

After 20 minutes drive from our stay at Batu Feringgi.
We reached Genting Cafe.
Ordered the Chee Cheong Fun, Curry Mee, and Fried Kuey Teow.

I would say this is the best CCF i ever had.
The gravy is just so good.
And unlike the usual CCF that I eat which is so oily, this one isn't too oily and the gravy just go well with the chilli.
More likely to say sauce instead of gravy.
But this is SO SO good!

Having a picky-mouth friend with us, even he said this is good.
So trust me, and give a try on the food.

Penang Night Bites Smile Feb 27, 2016

Stay tune to more food.
it's been awhile since I share the food comments in Mandarin.
But having the food name all in chinese. i have no idea how to put the description in english.
The food is great and awesome.
A non-chicken lover person like me, fell for the chicken at first sight.
Okay not just sight, but the moment i makan the first bite.
So good!

Transformation of an university Smile Feb 26, 2016

Categories : Western variety | Café | Desserts | Bakery / Cake / Kuih

If you're wondering why is my title about transformation of an university. Stay with me as I'm going to give you a quick explanation.
This place used to be my university, UTAR PJ Campus before our campus moves to Sungai Long.
Coming back to this place, I thought of visiting how my old campus looks like.
And I found this place.
This restaurant, initially was my classroom. Seeing this drastic change, I am amazed:')

Stepping into the restaurant, I love how the natural sunlights shine in the store. Giving it a bright atmosphere, just so relaxing. The simple decorations captured my eyes.
Instead of looking at the menu, the first thing i did after walking in was exploring the corners of the restaurant and feeling amazed by the changes they have made

As I was still quite full from my lunch an hour ago, I decided to order something light.
I saw on the menu, garden salad. I asked the waitress what sauce or dressings are they using.
I was surprised that later the chef came out and explained to me.
I am so convinced after hearing what the dressings they're using.
So I decided to order one

Tadaa. There you go. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SALAD I HAD SO FAR. TILL NOW I'M CRAVING FOR THIS SALAD.
I don't know if it's just me or how, but it's not too oily and that day I was so full that I feel everything going in my tummy feel nauseous.
But this salad. IS SUCH AN APPETIZER! TOO GOOD

This is the best Musang King Pie!
SO GOOD
I never expect the food here could be so good.
Inititally judging them as only looking nice from the outside.
But OH MY GOSH. the food taste awesome too!
I lost my words at the moment. But this is just so good that durian-lovers must try!

I'll be back!;)
Cause I'm in love with this placelol

I will probably be the first who write about Spitalfield's Gastrobar in Open Rice.
I went there last Sunday.
I noticed about Spitalfield's Gastrobar as I was scrolling Groupon.
I realized there's food voucher available and I have decided to give it a try.
I bought the voucher at 40% off, thinking it would be a great time to try the new restaurants with my friends who I have not been catching up with.

Initially, I was so worried on how to drive there as recently my waze been feeling ill and sometimes waze ditched me half way leading me to my destination.
And so, before I drive there. I asked my friends about where's the restaurant. After having a look at the restaurant, they told me:' Atria Mall la'
My reaction was where is Atria Mall, having them guide me verbally. I sort of know how to go there.

Oh well.Thankful that I managed to find the place without turning into the wrong ways.
#DrivingGoals
I managed to spot the bar the moment I reached Atria Mall as it's just right in front of the entrance.
I made my appointment at 1.30pm. I reached there slightly earlier, and the waitress guided me to my seats.
I fell in love with the interior the moment  I go in.
They reserved such a nice seats for the 3 of us, with my name written on the little card board.
The workers there are really friendly that it makes me feel overwhelming by their welcomes

Such a long introduction.
Alright.

I ordered Great Breakfast, but I have to say I was a bit dissapointed seeing this as I was expecting them to have more veggies at least sad
But well, I would say this is not the best big breakfast I tried but definitely the mushroom is good! They serve big button mushroom for their great breakfast.
Probably the thing that makes me feel great about this breakfast is MUSHROOMS!

Lemonade that taste just so lemonadesmile
#LemonadeOnPoint

I love this staircase and the interior design of this bar. So much effort:')
Overall, the food is not that good as what we expected.
But the services here are really good. and I could not judge much about the taste just based on these few dishes I tried.

I would say this place will be a great place to chill after shopping. Great place to drink and just relax, ideal place for family & friends.

How many bowls have you eaten? Smile Feb 26, 2016

I been trying boat noodles everywhere but still the one from ' Boat Noodle' still the best i have to say.
It's been a while since I come here.
Jaya One's Boat Noodle used to be my favourite lepak spot last time.
To grab a quick meal before i go home or something.

This time. coming back here.
I see there's new menulol
And I decided to give it a try
This time, I brought my non-spicy friendly friend along
She's a friend who would even complaint to me that "Bika" the snack is so spicy that she choked on it.
If you couldn't imagine her spicyness tolerance, our max spicy would be equivalent to her MAX spicy level on Eclipse Strawberry Flavored mints.HAHHAH
She told me during her internship period, she was trained to eat spicy food and she's able to tolerate on thai food now.

Hearing that, I am so excited to bring her to one of fav Thai restaurant
Boat noodles at RM1.90 each

it's the new boat noodle according to them

As usual i would order the chicken boat noodles.
I forever do not know how to pronounce it.
I always called it the Att and the Patt. It comes in two soups.
The one with darker sauce is Patt( which is more sour, and less spicy)
Taste is good. but is this how it should look like when we requested LESS Ice

As captioned. TOO MUCH ICE
i am giving you only two stars because of this
Such con drink that cost me RM7.90
But the bottle looks good.
Cup to be exactEvery time I see the long queue people waiting to go in, but I am blessed everytime i go. I always managed to find a seat without waiting or lining up.
This time, I can see the improvement that they serve the food faster than few years back when they first started.

The taste is still good that it doesn't dissappoint me.
My friend, who has low tolerance on spicy food made it on finishing the noodles!
I'm so proud though she got choked and coughed badly after eating the super spicy noodles according to her :')

That's a big improvement comparing with the 'bika-tolerance'

till next time. Chao
