At 9am today, my friends and I decided to hunt one of the best Chee Cheong Fun in town. At first I was wondering, Har? Genting Chee Cheong Fun? Seriously?Are we going to drive all the way to Pahang for this Cheong Fun?But well, I'm glad we're not or else I would be starving max.After 20 minutes drive from our stay at Batu Feringgi.We reached Genting Cafe.Ordered the Chee Cheong Fun, Curry Mee, and Fried Kuey Teow.I would say this is the best CCF i ever had. The gravy is just so good. And unlike the usual CCF that I eat which is so oily, this one isn't too oily and the gravy just go well with the chilli.More likely to say sauce instead of gravy. But this is SO SO good!Having a picky-mouth friend with us, even he said this is good. So trust me, and give a try on the food.I'll be back here to TAPAO the food.Chaooo continue reading

The Coffeeshop was located at Island Glades. The traffic was congested almost anytime you went by , regardless morning or noon. Lucky enough to parked at quite a distance place and walked to the place. Was introduced to try their Chee Cheong Fun. Order 3 plate with each 2 Chee Cheong Fun place.(Rm2-3 for 2 pieces) . All  without sweet sauce.Their specialty is that the sauce is mixed with peanut butter. It was awesome and worth the time taken for finding car park. The sauce was nicely mixed and their services is friendly. But , the morning session was really crowded and long queue required. continue reading

I've tried some other ccf in Penang, but nothing can compare to the ones in Genting Cafe. This is the best of the best! The sauce is super viscous and sweet. There's also an uncle selling muar chee there, sorry for the lack of picture. It's one of the best muar chee I've ever tasted too!One of the dish that my local friend likes to eat. Just mediocre but not bad.  continue reading
