I LOVE THIS PLACE.
CAN I SHOUT AND TELL THAT I LOVE THIS PLACE
Alright, reserved meal.
This is because we made table reservation few days before we come here.
According to my friend, we need to place order earlier if we want to eat the spring roll
There's 8 of us having our dinner there.

And this is an extreme good experience to dine at this place next to the beach.
Coming to this place not expecting to be so close to the nature, I fell for this place immediately the moment I see the sand. It may be because I'm from East Coast, seeing the sand and the sea made me thought of home. The belongingness.:')

Stay with me, you're not at discovery channel or something.
Let me assure you, you're right at Open Rice Malaysia.
But can you believe it, the pictures above are my views while i having my meal there.
This is so so good.
I can't resist myself but to run to the beach bare footed, just to feel the sea breeze and the sand scrub.

A nice environment and a nice restaurant with good food. I lost my words here.
The pictures below showed te food we ordered.
There's 8 of us here,7 dishes, but we only paid for MYR287 for the whole meal which I think the price is reasonable especially when we're at Batu Feringgi (the well known tourist spot)

Highly recommended

Good cakes found! Smile Feb 28, 2016

After hunting all the nice street food in Penang, we decided to give ourselves a break by sitting down at the cafe and settle down on our tummy.
Initially, we wanted to just chill and have our coffee there. That's it.
But it seems like Penang has this ability to expand our tummy that we were all so tempted to try the food. As long as it's something munchable. It attracted us.

I am a fan of vibrance. Seeing the vibrant building of the cafe just cheered me upsmile

Looking at the cakes, we decided to order the Chempedak cake, and Durian Fresh Cream cake.
The durian cake is so good, being a durian lover, my vote had given to Durian Fresh Cream cake instead of Chempedak. #Biased
I ordered Green Tea Latte for myself.
But, I would say this place would be a great place for those who came to hunt for cakes. But as for drinks, it's kinda dissappointing. I was expecting the drink to be real good.sad

Anyway, the waitress here is really friendly.
One thing i love about Penang is that they have really nice interior and old school designs which attracted me. Every single corner just seems to be very snapchat/instagram-worthy

A place I would recommend to the Instagrammer out there.
Check this out!

Bites by the road Smile Feb 28, 2016

After having the Teochew Chendul outside the cafe.
We decided to grab some light bites from Joo Hooi Cafe.
I was told by my friend that we should eat the Yam Cake here. For only RM 2 per piece. I think it's a good try.

We ordered two yam cakes and some kuih from this stall in Joo Hooi Cafe
The aunty or owner of the stall is so friendly that she greet and talked to us
Knowing I'm not from local by hearing my accent, she recommended us places to eat and so.

I am overwhelmed by her kind explanation. There are many people who eat Asam Laksa here and TeoChew Chendul here.
This cafe is usually crowded that you have to wait to get a seat. Most probably you would see almost everyone having the Chendul with them.
I guess the Chendul is that good that people would love to have it with the food here.

Though this place is a bit stuffy and hot, but for the sake of good food.
The little sacrifice means nothing!

This is the famous must know Chendul in Penang
Having to say, I am blessed that I do not have to wait for a long queue like last time to get my Chendul. Usually you would see people standing around the stall to wait for their chendul.
But today my brilliant friend found a seat at the other restaurant nearby.
So after ordering our chendul, we self-delivery the chendul to our seats.
The little stall with so much loves :)

This is the best chendul ever.
The brown sugar a.k.a Malacca sugar just goes well with the chendul
OH MY GOSH.
Now i am craving for this though i just had it few hours back
So good!
I should have Tapao home.

Overall comment: MUST TRY in PENANG!

After grabbing our breakfast, we decided to go for snacks which seems to be quite heavy.
But well, what is quota when you come to Penang.
Coming to Penang is all about FOOD!
I love Penang so much!
Love the food, the people, the building, the environment. Oh well, maybe not so much loves for the drivers.

Alright! let me introduce this place at the corner.
They serve really good Lor Bak and the sauce are just so good
I personally ate the tofus a lots. As well as their 'Lap Cheong'- the Chinese sausages
This dish gained a high ratings from me. But as for the price, it's kinda standard for Penang price so cheers!smile

Oh yea i stated that we came for snacks right?
Hmm how did I ended up eating chicken rice after my breakfast
Oh no.
But well. this chicken is not bad i would say, but let me whisper to you:" I personally prefer the one at the old green house, though my picky mouth friend said this is good"
Guess everyone has different taste buds. That makes the difference.*Whisper* Coffee Ais is not bad too.
