After grabbing our breakfast, we decided to go for snacks which seems to be quite heavy. But well, what is quota when you come to Penang. Coming to Penang is all about FOOD!I love Penang so much!Love the food, the people, the building, the environment. Oh well, maybe not so much loves for the drivers. Alright! let me introduce this place at the corner. They serve really good Lor Bak and the sauce are just so good I personally ate the tofus a lots. As well as their 'Lap Cheong'- the Chinese sausagesThis dish gained a high ratings from me. But as for the price, it's kinda standard for Penang price so cheers!Oh yea i stated that we came for snacks right?Hmm how did I ended up eating chicken rice after my breakfast Oh no. But well. this chicken is not bad i would say, but let me whisper to you:" I personally prefer the one at the old green house, though my picky mouth friend said this is good"Guess everyone has different taste buds. That makes the difference.*Whisper* Coffee Ais is not bad too.#TryingToConcealIAteThatMuch continue reading

Kheng Pin Café is located in Penang city center, just a few minutes walk from Cititel Hotel. This Café is situated at the junction of Penang Road where you can find those old fashioned marble tables and wooden chairs. The shop serves a nice and delighting loh bak. The loh bak here is served hot and crispy. My dad and i loves the fried prawns cackers as well as the nice lo bak here. The sauce was very thick and most of all whenever it serves, it is serves hot where it can burns your lips. continue reading

Kheng Pin is one of oldest coffee shop in Penang which is famous for their Lo Bak. Here, we had the Penang Prawn Mee is nothing to shout about from Kheng Pin. It is being served with the tiny little prawns, chunks of minced chicken and egg. Topped with the chilly oil, the prawn mee can be slightly spicy but to me it is still below par on the spiciness.Taste: 2/5Price: RM 4.50 continue reading

continue reading

Omg!!! you should try this if u are coming to Penang for your food trip!Choose from fried prawn cake, fried squid cake, fried tofu topped with prawns...and loh bak the best!Dip it with the special chili sauce and the lohmee-like soup! :bow:bow:ma:mad:l:l: It is located at George Town (area near where all those famous wall painting)..We hardly see this shop because some local said it does changed their main signage before, luckily we find it.It is actually a stall inside a kopitiam. I dont see any other stall attract me, but onlt this. We just ordered for some bites before heading to look for more food. continue reading
