Unagi Kaba Yaki Bento Smile Jul 15, 2012   (Related Review)

Besides, the ala-carte dishes, there are more than 20 types of sets & bentos too.

Unagi Kaba Yaki Bento @ RM35.00
The bento set is huge that comes with a cutlets of unagi, a bowl of garlic rice, 3 big cubes of fresh salmon served on crushed ice, platter of tempura set (with prawn, ladies fingers, sweet potato & eggplant), miso soup, chawanmushi, and vege salad. I am so glad they make these combination that i can try all the food and need not have to order each of them separately. This is basically a full set of Japanese food that one will enjoy in a Japanese Restaurant. No doubt about it, everything just taste above average.

Salted Egg Bittergourd @ RM10.00
The bittergrourd is sliced and deep fried with salted egg. It is perfectly crispy and aroma taste of salted egg makes me eating non-stop. I can hardly feel the bitterness of the bitter gourd. It taste something like fried potato. I think those who don't like to eat bittergourd will love this, just like me !

One of the signature dish - Big Head Prawn with Glass Noodle 冬粉虾 @ RM56.00 (2 prawns)
It's still boiling hard when served in a big hot pot The soup is kind of yellowish like the prawn egg melted in the soup. Feel so warm and oomph with energy once tasted the soup. The taste is so fantastic and its so sweet and strong aroma of the prawn. They also added chinese wine in it. My face turn red after finishing 3 bowls of the soup and glass noodle!!

The prawns are cut into both sides. The meats are nicely cook that its so fresh and bouncy. This is really the best of the night.

A must to order when visiting Restoran Leong Chee Hoong !!

Butter Cheese Crab Smile Jul 07, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood

Wong Poh has been famous with their seafood especially the crab. The most popular dish is Butter Crab.

Butter cheesy crab comes in a clay pot. The crab meat is sweet and juicy. I can finish 2 crabs by myself.
Remember to dig to the bottom as the sauce are really creamy and superly nice. I must use KFC's slogan ''finger licking good" !!. tongue

The creamy sauce is good to serve with rice or can dip with the fried ''man tou'' (bun).

The bun itself is good in taste itself. Dipping with the cheesy sauce make it perfect.

Blackball are specialized in their Xian Cao ''Grass Jelly" as the herbal drink. Therefore the Grass Jelly in blackball is different from other competitors. I really like the Grass Jelly here as its more chewy and smooth and still keep up the nice herbal taste.

Front: Fresh Milk with Grass Jelly 鮮奶仙草冻饮 @ RM5.90
Actually i dare not try the Fresh Milk with Grass Jelly as I scared will feel nasty for a huge cup of milk. Surprisingly, I start loving it after tasted. Its a great combination, the Grass Jelly fragrance just melted in the milk, makes the drink so perfectly nice. This really my Favourite drink now!

Back: Signature "Xian Cao" Tea with Grass Jelly 黑丸仙草冻饮 @ RM5.90
This is just Grass Jelly tea with Grass Jelly. An ordinary herbal tea. Taste little sweet and good for cooling down.

Blackball drinks have only 1 size which comes Large at the regular price.

Spending per head: Approximately RM5.90
