Visit Ipoh a few weeks ago and my uncle took us to this place that was apparantly so hard to get in. (Spoiler Alert: I later found out that you'll have to make reservations and order via the Mecan Order smart phone app there is also a discount).When we arrived there, it looked classy and my jaw dropped when i saw a whale swimming within its walls! I wish my smartphone's battery was smarter haha but I couldnt take pictures or videos.
We were so engrossed in the conversation at the table that before you knew it, my first course arrived.
I ordered the 5 Course Iberico set
My First Course: Salade AUX Noix with Bacon and Walnuts
Taste: 7/10 (Bacon gets an extra half point..So it's 7.5)
My Second Course: Mushroom Soup
Taste 6.5/10 (It was quite good but I took a taste of the Pumpkin Soup, sedappppp)
My Thrid Course: Char Grilled Middle Eastern Flavoured Iberico Black Pork “Secreto."
Taste: 8/10 (This Black Pork is tender as h*ck! I think this is a must try!)
My Fourth Course: Cheese Cake
Taste: 6.5/10 (It was good..up there..but I have tasted better.. Sorry)
My Fifth Course: Tea
Taste: It's tea lah... ish! hahahaah
Price: For me, free.. for my very kind uncle, RM105 (after discount). You'd think it is expensive, but I think for the taste and environment, it's pretty worth it..
I'm looking forward to return again.. I saw the Lamb being served.. looks tempting!!
