Taste of food OK but very BAD SERVICE。

Tadaaa. The last time I came Ipoh, I was brought to the same street,This time slightly different, I was brought to eat their "Chow Fun"Beating the mainstream on having Ipoh Chicken Rice.We came to this shop having our must-eat Taogeh in Ipoh. There's 9 of us eating. But the kiasu-ness in us can't resist the food but to order the food which the amount exceeded the capacities of our stomach. 7 ladies and 2 gentlemen. How can we finish the food.We ordered 2 "Yuet Guang Ho- Moon Noodles", 2 "Lao Shu Fen-Mice noodles",2 Yee-Mee, 2'Wa Dan Ho-Egg Gravy Noodles', 2 plates of chicken feet, Tao Geh, Tofu and Eggs.Adding on the salted chicken we tapao from the other shop, it's a bursting stomach night.Oh well. But surprisely we managed to finish 95% of the food.I would highly recommend the Moon Noodles. As seen in the picture above with the egg yolks, the noodles are the best chow fun i eat so far. It's so good i have to say.The restaurant is pretty warm as there's no air cond in the shop, and probably we were so kiasu that we do not want to wait for the seats outside. We sat inside the restaurant which is so stuffy as we sat near the kitchen. But it worth the wait, and worth the heatThe food is just so so good!Next time beat the mainstream eating chicken rice, let's go try out this shop when you visiting IpohSmile  continue reading

"Fifty years of fried noodle experiences, the third generation of Ipoh Tuck Kee is well known for its tender fried War Tan Hor Fun and the delicious of fried noodles with appetizers."Located at Jalan Yau Tet Shin, this restaurant stands at the same row with the famous Lou Wong Bean Sprouts Chicken, attracting many tourists and Ipohians at night, especially during long holidays.Baby Octopus in Soy Sauce The octopus is blanched, then poured over with hot oil and soy sauce. It then was garnished with spring onion and fried garlic, served alongside with special made chili sauce. This succulent and fresh tasting octopus is a must order!Meatballs Soup 猪肉丸Though looks normal and unappealing, it has surprised me with its dense and chewy texture, not to mention the dry cuttlefish inside that elevates the porky taste. Also known as Smooth Rice Noodles with Eggs. Different with KL, Ipoh War Tan Hor has bigger ratio of egg gravy versus noodles, hence the soupy taste with fried noodles texture. Another must have at Ipoh. continue reading

continue reading
