Ayer Itam café is a restaurant which is serving a wide range of Chinese cuisinesPenang Asam LaksaThis dish is penang asam laksa. The asam laksa is too spicy for me. You can see the amount of "Chilli padi" they sprinkled on the top. Those chillies cannot be looked down seriously. Once you mix the whole dish together, you can taste the hotness of this asam laksa.

Ayer Itam Cafe offers a variety of coffee style cuisine in Penang. It is located at Jalan Paya Terubong, Penang, Air Itam. Penang Assam LaksaPenang Assam Laksa is one of my favourite Malaysian hawker style food. The Penang assam laksa is cooked perfectly. The broth is full with fish flavour and it has a balanced taste of sweetnees and sourness. The noodles is not too firm or too soft. It is best eaten with "he koh" (shrimp paste).
