Business is booming at this lively pub _ the perfect place for a casual night out. Maybe there are teething problems, but the main reason to come here for now seems to be the atmosphere and warm service, not the food. The pork burger looked promising, but the patties were bland and lacking in juiciness. Apple pie with vanilla ice cream. Apple pie with vanilla ice cream. The pie was piping-hot and tasted fairly fresh, though the crust wasn't quite flaky or buttery enough.
Deep-fried Mars and Snickers bars with vanilla ice cream. Incredibly indulgent. Thankfully, the batter was light and not oily at all.
Hopscotch Martini (vodka, butterscotch, milk, sugar syrup), Mama Tom's Margarita and Ultimate Mudslide Martini (vodka, kahlua, creme de banana, amarula, milk).
Zen (green tea liqueur, brandy, peach schnapps, honey, green tea), Snake Bite (apple cider, carlsberg beer, ribena) and Harry's Fling (gin, paraiso lychee, lime juice).
Still, the plus points outweigh the negative. The food comes in hearty portions and is reasonably priced. Also, most of the cocktails cost only RM22 (though the booze content is a bit low).
