Another popular dish from the tempura counter is the soft shell crabs. The soft shell crabs were deep fried in the batter. I don't quite like the tempura batter. In my opinion, it was too thick. The soft shell crabs were cut into smaller pieces. The soft shell crabs were not meaty. With the thick batter and the not so meaty crabs, i feel like i'm just eating deep fried flour.
