Shogun Japanese Buffet Restaurant (Closed)

Never waste money on this restaurant again. Once is enough. Sashimi is not so fresh and not various, only Salmon is edible. Sushi tastes terrible. Oyster is okay tho not so fresh. Tempura is quite okay, still the sauce is aweful. Shabu shabu is the worst as the soup is as tasteless as tap water even veggies looks so poor and not clean. Dessert? Awwww.... other things just soso.

This is as objective as i can get about this venue. This not only reflects my view but also those who were with me during the buffet. For the buffet, i strongly believe that they shouldn't keep to this concept of an open buffet. The venue was clean but the food was either tasteless, made from poor quality ingredients, not fresh, cold, prepared inadequately or rotten (explanation below). It is not only appalling but potentially a health hazard....Acceptable:Variety, Salmon sashimi, tempuraThe BAD

Assorted tempura. I took some varieties of tempura: lady finger, carrot, oyster mushrooms, yam and the mixed vegetables tempura. I like the mixed vegetables tempura as it has a combination of carrot and onion taste to it. The tempura coating was not extremely crunchy, which was fine with me as I dipped it into the broth. I like the yam too as it was soft. The carrot was sweet.

Oyster and Scallop. From the seafood section, I took the cheese baked oyster and the cheese baked scallop. Some of the scallops were covered with a lot of melted cheese while some were covered with a little bit of it. The scallop was moist and it was fresh. The oysters were fresh too but it was not big size. It has some slight juiciness and the melted cheese gave it some saltiness.

Naruto Sushi. I passed by the sushi counter and saw this colorful sushi, so I stopped by and took a closer look. It was my favourite naturo on top of the sushi, I took a few pieces. The naruto was placed on top of the sushi and topped with mayonnaise sauce and some colorful "roe". The naruto has no taste, but the mayonnaise gave the overall sushi a slight sweet taste.

Beef Teppanyaki. I went to the teppanyaki counter and took the beef teppanyaki. It was being grilled too well done, hence the rough meat texture. I would prefer it to be less well done so that I could still taste the juiciness of the beef. The beef slices were not too thick nor too thin. It was cooked with garlic that gave it an additional aromatic pungent flavour which I like.

Unagi and Sea Cucumber. I took the grilled unagi, sea cucumber and stir fried glass noodles. The grilled unagi was a thick piece and it was slightly dry. The unagi skin was not moist enough for my liking. The marination was light too. The sea cucumber was braised and it was soft. It was not too salty. The stir fried glass noodle was a normal one and nothing so special about it.

Shogun Japanese Buffet Restaurant have so many promotion going on and here is nice to dine in with so many choices of the food. at the desserts counter, i saw the cocktail and nice to have this as the desserts because to light up my meals. cooling enough. here is good almost the nice food and quality of good food here. service is pleasant. the price is also very reasonable here too..

Shogun Japanese Buffet Restaurant is the best place to dine in for japanese food and here the food is served all fresh and the service is very good and very pleasant and i like to dine in here and will bring my family. the price is not expensive too. the cendol is nice. i never thought they have put the cendol there. sweet enough and served cold but too much of ice inside.

Shogun Japanese Buffet Restaurant is a good place to dine in and also here have the nice service that i like when they clean up the plate quite fast and also the food here is clean and fresh enough, the noodle is cooked with the dark sauce and some have the udon also. i added some tomatoes on the plate.here the place to dine in is clean and very comfortable dining here.

Shogun Japanese Buffet Restaurant is the japanese buffet and here is nice ambiance overall the environment and service is quite good. the food have so many choices and the shogun offer the fried item which is very delicious. they have this fried mushroom which i like it too. very crispy and just nice to munch as light meal after having the heave main dishes here.

Shogun Japanese Buffet Restaurant is the nice place to have gathering and here i like the deep fried termpura here is good to dine in with family with very comfortable and nice to dine in with great service too and their staff is very friendly too. the cakes is must try here when coming to buffet. the pandan cake is very tasty and not too sweet to my liking and i like this place

Shogun Japanese Buffet Restaurant i always saw this place in one utama and i wanted to try that too. seeing so many food to choose from mainly is the japanese food. i like the salad here fresh enough and the tempura is not oily and very crispy too. here they always do promotion and i like to come here often and more cheaper price if buying the discount prices here too.

when thinking of japanese food i will surely think of this place called the Shogun Japanese Buffet Restaurant. a very suitable place to dine in for large group of friend as well as the family members. here really have so many choices of the food especially i like the fried item the most. crispy enough and also the prawn roll is good to have it with the mayonnaise as well as the fu chok

shogun is a great place to dine in for their fresh seafood and japanese cuisines in a very nice ambiance and environment with such a fast service from the staff to take out the empty plates and i like the most is also the tempura and unagi is the best item here. i do like the unagi here served bigger portion and the japanese peas also good to have it as the appetizer too.
