Although this place has been blogged and reviewed to death, I'm embarrassed to admit that my first visit to this place is actually yesterday. Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng RM 8 is the most ordered dish here, consists of a plate of nasi lemak with half a boiled egg, a whole fried rempah chicken drumstick, slices of cucumbers and a spoonful of sweet spicy sambal anchovy and onions served on banana leaf. While everything about the plate of nasi lemak is perfect, I've tasted nicer fried chicken at Mali's Corner in Setapak Honest!
Ordered sirap bandung ais (iced rose syrup drink with evaporated milk) to go with the nasi lemak. The place is packed even during puasa month and the queue to pay is so long even though the cashier has got lightning speed but worth the wait while you gaze at snapshots of artists and celebrities that have been there. I saw pictures of Datuk Lee, Aaron Aziz and our PM too! MSG level is low.
