bf drove me down to Damansara Perdana for a free food tasting event at Mohammad Chow; a newly opened halal muslim-chinese cuisine restaurant. the restaurant is located at the same row as Ayamas and Pizza Hut. freshly opened, the restaurant looks clean and brand new.left - mixed vegetables and right - a sad but proud display of nearly-empty crisp buttered prawns (i'm guessing everyone loved the prawns!)left - tofu with brown gravy; right - 'kung-pao' chicken which is my particular favorite. i lov

left - tofu with brown gravy; right - 'kung-pao' chicken which is my particular favorite. i love the salty and tender meat of the chicken.

sweet and sour fish, really soft meat and the gravy was cooked well too. not too dilluted and not too thick.

Mohammad Chow serves a good plate of chinese cuisine that is fresh and tasty for everyone. the food gave me a good impression on how food can still be awesome and yummy even if pork is not used! i'm impressed, especially at how flavourful their food can be, without unleashing any of the grease you'd feel when you eat chinese hawker food.
