One of the oldest beef noodles stalls in Malaysia (with its main branch near Masjid Jamek LRT station), Soong Kee beef noodles are my favourite of the many famous ones that I've tried.

The minced meat with sauce is so rich and aromatic, I could just eat the noodles with it and nothing else! The soup is also rich in beef flavour, and the beef itself is so silky, I could hardly believe it's beef.

I usually toss the noodles with the minced meat, and throw in some beef balls before gobbling them all up greedily. I would then sip on the soup while I dunk slices of beef into their fresh chili sauce and eat it on its own. I would then wash down everything with the remaining soup, pay, and leave smiling.
