This lily mushroom, when cooked in soup, helps absorb the sweetness from it pretty effectively. Like the herbal soup here, it soaks up all the gist from the richness of red dates as well as wolfberries, when you parboil it. So ideally, it makes a really good companion in any soupy dish. But do take note, it get cooked quickly, so dish it up before it get too soggy. Slurps!
