Apparently the original shop from Alor Setar only serves the koey teow soup, however, since the original owner’s son took over, he expanded the menu. We ordered the dry bee hoon, priced at RM5 for a regular-sized bowl. The meehoon was not well tossed, but that is fine. They added in a slice of fish cake, which I thought was a bit too measly. Some sliced chicken with fried garlic topped the bowl. I thought the meehoon was a bit dry, hence the small bowl of soup helped. The soup also came with some homemade fish paste ball, which really was the highlight. Tasty with enough bounce, it is definitely recommended.
