If you think that Lleone’s Pizzas and Such is going to be yet another Pizza shop, then you might be wrong. There is more than just pizzas here. The food I tried was amazing. There were many sides that were rather different from conventional pizza retailers. The soup of the day was interesting as well. I get to try the Tomato soup, served with thick parmesan toast with great aroma roaming right when it was served on the table. The soup wasn’t too sour, and I do like the mozzarella cheese inside the soup.

Other starter would be the Chicken Wing where it comes with choices of an array of sauces infused into their Buffalo- sized wings. The choices includes honey mustard, honey lime, Cajun, soy garlic, hoisin (seafood), BBQ sauce, Buffalo, Sweet chili. The wings are served with a nice serving of rich and tangy sweet tomato salsa. Chicken Wings comes in ¼ dozen for RM 7.14 and ½ dozen for RM 12.99. I tried honey mustard and I am rather impressed with the freshly fried chicken wing, instead of those served to have been re-fried upon ordered. That leaves the chicken meat still tasted freshly succulent and juicy. Good job on that. I hope they keep that up.

As I have mentioned, they have got really interesting sides. I was tempted to try it all, but I’ve got to admit that I went on the wrong day. If it was to be any other day, I would probably try all the sides. But since this was the third review that day, I couldn’t possible eat any much more. The Croquettes were selling at RM 9.09 (I know, what’s with the 9 cents right? I thought of the same thing) , and with their dipping sauce, it was sinfully delicious.

Of course we then have the star of the restaurant, pizza. There is some few classic favourites or you could go for the Smoked salmon pizza. Hand tossed and topped with slices of smoked salmon, onions, capers and tsaziki sauce, and selling at RM 20.79 for the large classic and RM 29.49 for the extra large. There is only two sizes and large measures approximately 12 inch. The bread might not have been the best I’ve tried, and I personally felt it was a little too hard. My grandma definitely won’t enjoy that, if you know what I mean. But the toppings, are to die for.

Another selection on the menu that is to die for would be their pastas. If the soup of the day would have been creamy mushroom or chicken, then I might have ordered something with red sauce. But since starters came with tomato soup already, then I decided to go for the Fettuccini carbonara with lots of ham, mushrooms, onions, garlic and creamy white sauce finished with egg yolk. The texture of their pasta was not too bad, and the dish is cost RM 15.49.

The shop is located in SS 15 but not to worry about car park availability, on weekdays night you most likely won’t have any hassle looking for one.
