We noticed Bubu while walking along Tengkat Tong Shin in mid-March but ignored it, since it looked like a sleazy pub from outside. Thankfully, we realized our mistake and headed here after 3iLinG revealed recently that it's a nice restaurant. Sea bass fillet with tomato herb relish & balsamico reduction. Sea bass fillet with tomato herb relish & balsamico reduction. A fleshy fish, not as bland and dry as sea bass tends to be.

Swordfish thermidor. The natural flavour of the fish was overwhelmed by the mustard, mushroom & tarragon sauce, but we couldn't really complain, since the sauce turned out to be deliciously creamy in its own right.
Grilled garoupa. Very bony, but still sweet and succulent enough to recommend.
